The game has only been out for a few days, though a lot of details about it have been posted there is much more to be discovered! Ask me in about a month or so, all that needs to be discovered should be found then. However I should note that sometimes beta data is left in either because they were either at one point planning to add it in or they were using it as filler until they came up with the tune they wanted. A good example of this is that you can find a redone version of Crystal Version's Legendary Beasts Theme in FireRed & LeafGreen despite those Pokemon not appearing in those games. |
Um....what?
yes they do..

Oops, sorry, I meant to say that while they do appear in FireRed and LeafGreen it's normal Wild Pokemon music instead of the redone Crystal Version theme.

I know B&W is still a long way in the US. but - what moves would you recommend for Doredia? that cute grass one. its moveset is really lame. I was thinking Magical Leaf, Leaf Storm, Hidden Power... what should be the last one? Sing A Song seems too weak |
I'm not a professional move set creator, but here are a few moves and combos I'll suggest: (We'll also take out Egg Moves)
Sleep Powder (Churine at Level 10) & Dream Eater (TM85)
Sunny Day (Churine at level 40 or TM11) & SolarBeam (TM22)
Sunny Day (Churine at level 40 or TM11) & Synthesis (Caught with it or Churine at level 17)
Giga Drain (Churine at level 26)
Energy Ball (Churine at level 35)
Leaf Storm (Churine at level 46)
Petal Dance (Level 46)
A move set I'd make for it would be Sleep Powder (Sleep is always a good status to afflict), Dream Eater (need another type of attack), Giga Drain (if you have it hold the Big Root hold item it'll heal 30% more HP), and Energy Ball. Best of all this works alongside it's stats which Special Attack is the highest.
As for Sing A Song (Or "Canon" as Bulbapedia calls it OR "Sing A Round" as Serebii calls it), while it does start out weak it does damage all opponents in Triple Battle and if used consecutively it'll increase in Power (but by how much isn't known right now)

another one.. there's no way I can wait for Wargle and Kerikizan which is all the way near Victory Road. my friends have outgrown Pokemon and a few who still play the games well I don't really talk to.. so I pretty much don't have anyone to trade with. is there any way I can trade with someone who will have the Poke I want, but in another state/country? let's say.. like very nice people here in the forums (; lol. sort of like a global thingy. I have no idea how the WiFi, global trading, what you ma call it works. just curious |
Sorry, I can't find any info about far away trading, Black and White doesn't have a Global Trade Station nor do I see anywhere which says the game copies down Friend Codes. Serebii Forums might have a more in-depth answer.

a very unique moveset, but curious. why such the low PP's? I always wondered what other people use for their Pokemon's movesets. you're giving your Doreida only Solarbeam & Leaf Storm as its attacks but those have really low PP, or am I missing something. why not just Magical Leaf? yes the base power is only 60 but I take into consideration the PP |
Well do you want a short battle or a long battle? While many strong moves have few PP, normally this is because you'll only need one or two hits (unless you oddly decided to use it on a Pokemon who is resistant to that move's type) before you knock out the opponent. In addition you'll have a team of 6 Pokemon, so if you run out of PP you're other Pokemon should be able to pick up the slack (or if you have Ethers/Elixers or Leppa Berries you could use those). You can also use PP Up and PP Max to increase a moves PP by the max of 3 more.

How can you take advantage of slow start? |
Both Regigigas' and Slaking's Ability keep both Pokemon from reaching its full potential, moreso with Slaking. While with Normal Battles you're stuck, in Double and Triple battles it's a different story.
There is a move and a Ability you can use to get rid of Regigigas and/or Slaking's Ability. First you can use the move Skill Swap to switch Abilities and second you can attack a Pokemon with the Mummy Ability so that their Ability becomes Mummy.

Mummy, only known by Desumasu and Desukaan, is an Ability that if a Pokemon with it makes contact with the opponent either by being hit by a Physical Attack or using a Physical Attack, the opposing Pokemon's Ability also changes to Mummy until the end of the battle.

What does it do....like boost anything or..
and if you hit the opponent after you get the mummy ability
they get mummy as their new ability
it's like a zombie virus..it spreads until everyone has it

I went through the episode guide. & my goodness, the Pokemon League is near! I thought that would take a little longer. I'm pretty surprised. how come this time around they dragged out the storyline? was that some sort of mistake on their part? I'm guessing that because it was dragged out... there was no time for a Johto Battle Frontier, correct? that would've been nice |
Probably was a mistake and maybe a bit to do with advertising pushing a few episodes back. This is only a theory, but these things are probably why Sinnoh was rushed in the end, there was no Generation IV Battle Frontier, and why Isshu started in a rush:
1. The writers didn't realize how close Black and White was close to being finished.
2. With the release of HeartGold & SoulSilver revealing a few new features such as the Pokeathlon they were probably told to have a few episodes around it (and maybe include Lyra some how to get her popular).
Of course all the filler Sinnoh had didn't help either. Pretty much I think they had too many fillers leaving only the minimum amount of episodes needed to include a nice round-up to Sinnoh, quickly include Ash challenging the Generation IV Battle Frontier, and build up Ash going to Sinnoh which went completely out the window when they were told they needed to include episodes advertising features in other Pokemon games as well as not realizing how near Pokemon Black & White was close to finishing.
