Any one annoyed by May?

    I have more of a problem with Max. He is soo annoying and doesn't seem to add anything to the series. At least May does the contests but I always prefered the Brock, Ash and Misty days.
    I still think it would be good to see Ash and Brock on a pokemon adventure without any of the others. Would be interesting.

    No one likes Max, he is just that annoying little voice that people usually ignore. I can't wait till he is gone (if ever).

    Max also annoys me, just not as much as May. I admit, when she first came into the picture, and Misty wasnt there, i was just like "OMG, why is Ash all alone with a girl that isnt Misty!!!!!" and was very angry. I hated her for the majority of that season, but now, ive just gotten used to her and just try to ignore her. I still want Misty back more then anything and i wish May and Max were gone and it was back to the Golden Age of Brock, Ash, and Misty, but until we get a happy time again, ill just have to ignore May and Max.

    Well unfortunattely May and Max arn't going anyway. However, I do have good news. Misty is suppose to be traveling with Ash and everyone again. I for one say it's about time. Things should get better with all of them there. It's goign to be funny seeing the girls call all the shots. I just hope Misty continues to battle and not to contests.

    It'd be good to see Ash on his own from time to time. The last episode of Advance Battle was really nice to see Ash on his own and having to rely on his own instincts without getting advice from his friends.
    Made him seem more like a normal trainer being on his own and I'd like to see that from time to time but Ash and Brock together would be pretty cool to see.

    Yes, Max be gone, please!  Kids haven't been this annoying since Power Rangers Turbo with Justin.

    I like May alot. I like Max too, he had that really good episode "Do I hear a Ralts?" and May just rocks I miss Misty & Tracey Though, and a few episodes ago, Max & Tracey, and Max& Misty Bonded so Max is like the cute little kid. But 4KIDS was so fake about the dubbing, how people would just disappear, instead of die in Japanese.

    Well, The Battle Frontier up through the Fighting Dojo episode (right after the Saffron Contest) is in AB while the rest is in Season 9.

    Most (not all) people who hate May hate her because they think she replaced Misty, which she didn't. As for me, I don't see how people can honestly like Max, he is annoying, repeats things over and over again, like how strong his Dad is, you'd swear he had a crush on his dad! Plus, he has only had one episode the was really dedicated to him. Not much to like about him

    Exactly. May is a different character, Max is a disease who's four feet tall and won't go away.

    ! What people don't realize is May is not a Misty replacement, because May and Misty have two VERY different goals.

    At first I had thought Haruka was a replacement for Misty, though after time I realized she wasn't. Even though I know she isn't, I'm still not a big fan of her, but she does have some cool rivals and some of her contests are neat. I don't mind Masato, he's cool, even though he can be annoying at times.

    The point of it is, this show is designed for 6-8 Year olds. I remember when I was around that age I would be annoying and repeat things and say my dad was strong. Your missing that Max in the show is only 7-8 years old, but nothing beats the fact that Ash stayed 10 for 8 years, and that proves Max is young if Ash is 10.
