Banned Episode Questions

    I have a few questions about banned episodes, and other stuff

    In Japan has there every been Any swearing on Pokemon?
    Why is Jynx a 'racial stereotype' because of the way she looks?
    Has the US banned any scenes from the conversion to TVTokyo to KidsWB?
    Do you think the New Network CW will bring back the Weekday afternoon Block?

    1. Yeah. I think in the early ep, Ash and co swore, more specifically the word "Sh*t" in the Butterfree ep.
    2. Ask the stupid woman who wrote the article and while you're at it, smack her upside the head for being the only one dumb enough to care.
    3. In the first contest ep, they edited out a scene with Jynx because of that stupid woman and her article.
    4. No, but they should. ER and 8 Simple Rules are OLD shows.

    ya well I hope they start airing ALL Pokemon on Cartoon Network at least CN has a sense of humor and my not censor bypass every little aspect of an episode.

    1. Not that I am aware of, But on a revious post it seems that there was swearing, But I dont really pay attention 100% of the time.
    2. Well what can you expect, Apparently the person who took offense of this episode says that jynx is somewhat similar to a african person. Apparently stereotyping them with the dark skin, big lip and light hairstyle. Honestly it quite stupid since this is a Japanese cartoon and their culture is way different. I dont think that person took that to consideration. It also happened in Canada where a convienient store, Couche Tard was a hot topic when an lady took offense over a candy packaging "Sloche" where the caricature seems to depic a black person since it the person had brown skin, gold teeth, earing and braided hair. Which was only a spider. But since Couche Tard manufactured the candy, Like any company, They took responsibility and fix the problem. And lets not forget the Money that was given as compensation which was donated to charity of course.

    i dont think there was any. they were just blamed for things like violence, slapstick comedy, racial stereotypes, inappropriate fake implants used on a male lol, seizure inducing moments lol.

    She had a black face and because of one person's article, it was changed to purple. The purple faced Jynx is featured in the Pacifidlog Contest episodes.

    In the episode "Beauty and the Beach" 4Kids took out many scenes of James with his inflatable body suit.

    it'd be really funny if adult swim on cartoon network showed only the banned episodes of pokemon and was unedited (since adult swim is meant to be for adults), and to show the porygon episode they should just take out the scene that caused the seizures lol.

    Good point. Infact if they just take out the part that made all those kids get seizures they could probobly air it on kidswb.

    i've been there and i understand the point of being banned.
    but it's not that much of banned episodes so nobody is really missing anything. except the fact of how ash caught those 30 tauros.

    I agree it would be great if they did that, but it's impossible to cut the Porygon episode because there are MANY scenes that caused the seizures, and the whole chapter wouldn't be understood. But if you wanna watch it go to www.youtube.com and write the name of the chapter you'd like to see. You'll find it easily.

    I did too but it gave me a small headache from the lights. They were were really annoying, not to mention blinding. And no, I don't have epilepsy.
