That's really depressing that a government would ban cartoons

Is it really worth discussing? Most of us live in the U.S., the UK or Australia. It doesn't really affect us.

Not unless there's a part of China that pays attentions to the television of the Western World. Hong Kong might, since Great Britain might have control over it. But this shouldn't be aimed directly at Pokemon. It should be in the animation forum since anime goes under animation.

Anime is animation... not just under it

This isn't really worth discussing, as ShadowRanger pointed out. It doesn't affect most people here.

Plus it isn't just anime, it is all anime and children's cartoons that come from countries other than China. AKA only animes and children's show created in china are allowed.

    Not all anime is animation.

Wait, turn that around. Not all animation is anime. There we go.

That's the way a Communist government goes. They don't like any influences from the free world, anything that's non-communist. That includes, art, religion, and education.

I think the government would care less that foriegn cartoons are more popular than their own. And with China being a communist country it does sound about right that the government would ban foreign cartoons because of influences...
