I loved this one, even though they teased a gym battle and it didn't happen.
The bonding moments between Brock and James was hillarous, it is like the time they both fell in love with a girl that was a ghost Pokemon.
I think we have found our new Harley, I think we have not seen the last of Coco (however you spell her name), I think she will be a thorn at Dawn's side in the future.
Speaking of which, it reminds me that Dawn doesn't have a real rival, a character that she just can't beat and has a arrogant attitude about it, that you just can't till Dawn finally beats, like Gary and Paul for Ash, like Drew for May. I thought maybe we found that today, but it turned out not to be.

Don't foget about Solidad for May too. Also Ash beated Gary in the Johto League and May beated Drew during the Kanto Grand Festival. Also Ash tied with Paul in their first battle during the very beginning of Sinnoh.

Anyway, just 1 more episode till the beginning of the Summer School Arc, can't wait!
^^ You mean 1 episode away. ^^
An excellent example of what an entertaining episode should be. Exciting characters such as Paris & Lady CoCo add a bit of flair to the episode, & the concept of PokéStylists is pretty interesting. Not doing a review, but I will point out a couple of noteworthy things, due to the essence of time.
Dawn should NOT have won, especially when using Buneary; I guess I'm not getting it, or would the judges go crazy over a stupid bunny hopping around an ice-covered stage? Lady CoCo was WAY better than everyone else, showing off Mismagius in a truly unique way. Team Rocket were, well, being themselves, with Jessie being a clueless idiot, as usual. A 1-word adjective I would use to describe this episode is this: "over-dramatic." In this case, that's a good thing. :]
"Arriving in StyIe!" receives an 8.8!
Our heroes are on the road to Dawn's next Pokémon Contest site: Celestic Town. It seems like smooth sailing, but there seems to be a slight problem: an angry gaggle of Psyduck are blocking the narrow pathway, preventing them from passing through. What seems to be the reason for the anger of the Psyduck, & will our heroes manage to pass through in order to make it to Celestic Town in time for the contest? Tune in next week for a brand-new episode of Pokémon Diamond & Pearl: Battle Dimension!
Highlight above for a preview of next week's episode. Hope everybody is doing well & is enjoying the holidays! With that, I'm gone!

Dawn was having Buneary bounce around the stage, and spin using Ice Beam to make it seem like it was happily bouncing around a snow covered field, also matching it's white dress. It was being cute and really showing itself off at the same time, which Hermione could easily see. Mismagius may have seemed completely dazzling, but it was only using Psywave to make it's accessories look spectacular, which is why Coco won first prize for accessories. If Mismagious wasn't wearing that dress, then it would've looked like a plain Psywave, and it wasn't even moving around that much, either. So when when you really think about it, it makes sense that Dawn and Buneary won, and I'm glad they did.

Dawn it Dawn, use that dress in your contests instead of the pink one! |
I absolutely agree, her pink dress is just tacky, IMO, and she looks much pretier in the white one.
Pretty good episode even though it was a filler. We have yet another type of trainer on the ever expanding list of trainer classes, this time being a branch off of Pokemon Coordinator: PokestyIist. You got to feel sorry for James in this episode, if it wasn't for Brock complimenting his work on his work James would have been having an even worser day. I think Dawn needs a new dress for Pokemon Contests altogeher, The pink dress has gotten boring and the white dress is nice but bland like Enta pointed out. And I'm not even going to say anything about Ash's and Pikachu's outfits unless you want to know what they were based off from. I'll let me review handle of the telling my thoughts:
Battling Cancelled Due To Fashion:
* They are finally back in Hearthome, and being Ash defeated Maylene and Crasher Wake and if the stroyline follows the game's, then Ash should be able to verse Fantina now.
* Closed again? Okay, Fantina needs to spend a little less time Coordinating and more time Gym Leadering.
* Hmm? A mysterious girl shows up with a Lopunny and recognizes Ash as the winner of the Tag Team Battles. Dawn also seems excited and Brock has entered "Flirt Mode", Croagunk...
* But is Fantina practicing a new battle styIe fo Gym Battles or for Pokemon Contests? Also Croagunk didn't need to come out as Brock was turn down because she didn't recognize him, LOL!
* Okay Dawn, who is this? Paris the world famous PokestyIist? One thing Dawn, PokestyIist and Pokemon StyIist is the same thing, technically it actually means Pocket Monster StyIist.
* As Buneary sees its evolution, Dawn is told about the Hearthome Collection. No need to guess what Dawn's plans are for today.
* Ash entering a fashion show... a fashion show... yay, Ash has as much sense of fashion as he does in cooking so... yay.
Fashion Fiasco:
* Jessie, I'm pretty sure the only person who thinks of themselves as a legend is standing in the exact same spot you are. But like with Dawn, no need to guess Jessie's plans for today.
* First we have Paris and now we have Coco? If odd names weren't very common in the World of Pokemon I would have made more of a sarcastic comment.
* Ah, Coco isn't only rich but she's a stuck-up snob. All contests need a mean challenger to triumphantly win against.
* That Edna Mode look-a-like doesn't seem very fond of Coordinators or PokestyIists.
* Dawn's having a bit of troubling choosing a design she likes (though most designs she does look to be based off Pokemon). Oh, boy Ash has Brock already making his costume, this is not going to be pretty...
* Grr... annoying Zoey... but at least it gave Dawn an idea for a dress design.
The Good, Bad, And WTF?:
* Hey, it's Enta from the Hearthome Tag Battle Competition! I guess he must host all the big events in Hearthome.
* Ah, so Paris is a judge and so is the Edna Mode look-a-like who's the editor of Pokesheek, Madam Hermione. I guess she was just angry at Coco then yesterday?
* Oh, now I see what with Hermione, she doesn't like it that so many people want to be StyIists now just because Paris made it popular.
* And here comes Ash and Pikachu, nice lightning effect but will it make up for what we're about to see.......... no.......... no it doesn't.
* Ash sure did wake eveyone up, albiet through a wave of laughter. Meanwhile James will now have to keep a low profile with Brock taking a seat next to him.
* Don't worry Dawn, your performance can't be any worse then Ash's... or Jessie's. Poor James, he got all fired up in making Jessie's outfit just to have it ruined.
* Though Dawn might have a little to worry about with Coco's performance. But with Dawn's perfomance now and over, she had nothing to worry about as she got a roar of applause.
Taking The Title And The Tiara:
* Ash got into the top 3? Probably will get 3rd, no way he could win or get best accessories. Coco got in, no suprise as she's the main competiton. And last but not least it's Dawn. That's what Jessie gets for over make-uping.
* Poor James, not only can't he complaine about his work being ruined but also has to hear Jessie blaming her loss on him. Well back to what they do best, villiany!
* LOL! I guess it's just Jessie and Meowth everyone needs to be worry about as James looks to have called it a day.
* Whoa Piplup, I know you might be feeling a bit overshadowed but rushing into danger isn't the best way to solve this. Gald that Buneary and Lopunny did the Team Rocket blast off instead of Pikachu!
* As I thought, Ash got third for "uniqueness" as there wasn't anything normal about Ash's act. And the big winner is... Dawn! Paris defineilty deserved the 2nd place "accessories award" since that's what he act was pretty much all about Mismagius's dress.
* While Dawn won, she of course turns down working for Pokesheek as she is still on her journey to be a Top Coordinatoor. And Piplup is overshadowed once again because Buneary can't miss a chance to hug Pikachu.
