    arent there other pokemon ash has released too? like his primape, charizard(as far as im concerned), butterfree, squirtle, pidgeotto, etc bu they were all for good causes unlike paul who releases pokemon just becauise they are weak

    Um, yay, but I brought up Lapras because Ash and co. knew that Lapras was looking for its pod and so Ash decided to catch it until they can find its pod and release it. Ash never attended to release Charizard, Primeape, Butterfree, Squirtle, Pidgeot, Bulbasaur, and etc. until an event occured and him or that Pokemon made the decision to be released. However, Ash knew from the start that he was going to release Lapras before he caught it.

    yea i know this i just said that because spd said isnt one for releasing pokemon no matter what so i brought up a couple of pokemon he may have forgotten about

    I remember when Swampert was heading for Whale I was like "Swamper no slicing, Swampert no slicing, SWAMPERT NO SLICING"XD Dora refrence. This was a cool episode.
