Kanto Gym Leaders hands down. They're the classics, and of course, Misty and Brock are among them (if you go by the games), but even if you go by the anime (in which Forest is the Pewter Gym Leader), that doesn't change my vote one bit.

Kanto, with Johto right behind. Kanto was original, and had the best ones, while still being hard, but not too hard. Johto was also great. Hoenn had crappy leaders, and Sinnoh's were too easy

    1. Kanto
    2. Johto
    3. shinnoh
    4. hoenn the first two I won't get tired of. Hoenn had several big running jokes like Flannery who was a little absent-minded and disorganized. Tate and Liza argued alot thus limiting a bit of sense. The match with Maylene was S-s-s-s-smokin! Crasher wake just seemed like Chuck without the total charm (I will always remember "focus your energy!")

Indeed. The originals own, plain and simple, so I choose the Kanto gym leaders as my favorites.

but even if you go by the anime (in which Forest is the Pewter Gym Leader)
Not counting the American dub in which Brock is the Pewter leader and Misty & her snobish sisters are the Cerulean (sp?) leaders, of course.

Actually, I think it's also been stated in the dub (either the main series or the Pokemon Chronicles episode, A Family That Battles Together Stays Together! ) that Forest is the current Pewter Gym Leader. Even if it hasn't, however, the statement of Brock being the former Gym Leader of the Pewter Gym has been mentioned a number times in the dub.

But yes, Misty is still the Cerulean Gym Leader; not her sisters, though. They just fill in for Misty as substitutes when she's away (and just give away a Cascade Badge to anyone who wants one ).

Excuse me, but I thought you were speaking of--and voting for--the Kanto era when Brock was the Pewter Gym leader?
