I have this feeling Dawn will get Riolu. Every one of the main chars (except forTracey andthat annoying pain Max) has gotten a Pokemon egg, except her. Ash got Phanpy, Misty got Togepi and Azurill, Brock got Happiny, and May got Eevee. I don't count Bonsly or Mime Jr. since they were never hatched, only caught. In the game, there are only 2 Pokemon eggs obtained. Happiny from the Travelling Man in Hearthome, and Riolu from Riley after you help him on Iron Island. The former has already happened, so unless we see somebody with a Riolu (possibly Maylene before it evolves), that's my theory.

Because the location and time of where happiny hatched was somewhat the same as the games.

In the anime Happiny hatched just outside Eterna City. In the games you get it in Hearthome City. Two different sides of the region. What I'm saying is that the games have nothing to do with eggs in the anime.

Also, in the games, you can hatch it anywhere you want.

Yeah like if you leave the egg in the pc and take it w/ u to the pokemon league(like what i did w/ riolu by accident since i didn't travel iron island thoroughly till after 7th badge heh...my bad.) it'll hatch somewhere on victory road. Imagine if Ash recalled kingler for his six on six match with Fantina leaves his ambipom w/ the sinnoh pc person like may did with prof oak and is given rotom from volkner who was done using it for renevations after he wins their gym battle and recalls ambipom for sinnoh league so he can have 7 pokemon and can still tecnically follow his new policy from hoenn
