Thanks for posting what we already know. Anyways, Paul is supposed to have Fearow because he attempted to capture one in the Maze episode. It'll be considered a plot-hole if it's not revealed soon. |
Whats the Maze episode?
Ash's Pikachu is a male because it doesnt have the indent it as female

Happiny is always female in both the games and anime. |

I have to say it again. PIKACHU WAS NEVER CONFIRMED TO A MALE. Yes it is most likely, but it was never confirmed. And before anyone gives the crap about Pikachu's tale, that change was made AFTER Pikachu was introduced. |
Of course it wasnt. But it doesnt have to be stated in the anime to confirm it. It's wasnt clearly stated in the anime, but Ash's Pikachu is a male.

Please don't start the whole What-Gender-Pikachu-Is argument. Like SPDShadowRanger said. It was never said if Pikachu was male or female. The Pikachu gender difference is no indication as it was just introduced. Most likelythis is anadaptationto Pikachus in the Sinnoh region but not in Kanto, Johto (Ha! I spelled it right =P), and Hoenn region. Remember EP039 "Pikachu's Good-Bye", that whole group of Pikachus, not one of them had an indented tail and yet their were baby Pikachus (Remember at this time Pichu was not introduced either, so the baby Pikachus were Pikachus). I bet you that they were female Pikachu in that group, but the Kanto region does not have the gender differance adaptationin Kanto. Note that this whole Gender-Difference-Is-A-Regional-Adaptation is just a thoery. Anyway that fact is Pikachu's gender was never confirmed, even the Official Pokemon website is reluctant to answer this question (most likely not wanting to give out incorrect information) and when asked, they say
"Pikachu is Pikachu".
However we do now the gender's of the following Main GroupPokemon:
Ash's:
Aipom - Female becuase it was stated by May.
Bulbasaur - Male becuase it has a romatic relationship with May's Bulbasaur which is confirmed to be female.
Tauros (x30) - Male becuasetheir species are male (Miltank is the species female).
Bayleef - Female because it has a crush on Ash.
Totodile - Male because it fell in love with a female Azumarill.
Sceptile - Male because it fell in love with a female Meganium.
Charizard - Male becuase it fell in love with a female Charizard.
Butterfree - Male becuase it fell in love with a female Butterfree.
Misty's:
Staryu - Genderless because it's species is genderless.
Starmie - Genderless becuase it's speies is genderless.
Caserin (Luvdisc) - Male because it was stated by Misty and Daisy.
Brock's:
Happiny - Female because it's species is female.
Ludicolo - Male becuase a female Mawile had a crush on it.
Marshtomp - Male becuase it had a crush on a female Flaaffy.
May's:
Skitty - Female becuase Team Rocket's Meowth has a crush on it who is proven to be male.
Bulbasaur - Female because it was stated by May.
Team Rocket's:
Jessie's:
Wobbufett - Male becuase it fell in love with a female Kirlia.
James':
Victreebel (x2) - One was male, one was female, but we don't know which one was which.
Other:
Meowth - Male becuase it was stated by itself.
NOTE: If including gender differences to Sinnoh caught Pokemon, then Ash's Staravia is female and Dawn's Buizel is male.
These are the only Pokemon who's gender has been confirmed. If you state anything else then it cannot be proved no matter how obvious it is.
I'm sorry but I'm going to have to disagree with the whole tail indented "Negativity"
It's true that gender differences weren't around till the fourth generation, but is it so hard to give Pikachu, an indented tail, if it is in fact a female? I think that's most important fact missing from the whole arguement, is that even animators could all of a sudden indent the tail of pikachu if pikachu is a female. Just like if Jessie's Wobbufet was a female, what no lipstick just because it already was showcased without lipstick?
As for the region difference? I think that the creators couldn't go all out, like there might be a 5th gen thing that isn't out now(like more gender differences).
What I'm saying is if Ash and Pikachu were to go back to that same pikachu group, now, I'm sure there would be pichu and indented tails.

Actually judging by the gender difference's, Ash's Staravia is male. Check Bulbapedia
i know that, the same with turtwig. I'm just saying, Pikachu said Staravia is female, based on gender differences if they came into play in the anime. But i said if their were gender diferences Pikachu is wrong because Staravia's pattern implies that it is male.

Whoops, my bad. I meant to say male. Don't know why I said female, maybe I glanced the part where it said it voice was faminine or maybe justa slip of the keyboard. Anyway this still doesn't change anything as Staravia's gender was never confirmed.

And queen what do you mean in the anime they only have male/female based pokemon?
queensrp wrote: |
Tauros is pure male, Miltank is pure female, the Nidos is both female and male, Tyrogue is pure male. That's what I mean. |
Clearly, your statment of "Genders don't even exist in the Pokemon Anime except for Male only and Female only Pokemon" doesnt make sence because as we have seen Butterfree could either male OR male.
