Uh yes. But queen said "Genders don't even exist in the Pokemon Anime, except for Male only and Female only Pokemon."

I was saying that was wrong because we have clearly seen there are F/M besides "F/M Only"

Ah, now I understand. Did I not just post a list of the main characters Pokemon whos gender has been confirmed? There is clearly gender in the anime, but it is only importent in certain episodes... like the Cheryl arc where she needed a male Burmy to evolve into a Mothim?

I was just saying what Queen stated was wrong. There are male/female only like Miltank or Blissey but in the anime, there HAVE been others confirmed besides F/M only

I have to say it again. PIKACHU WAS NEVER CONFIRMED TO A MALE. Yes it is most likely, but it was never confirmed. And before anyone gives the crap about Pikachu's tale, that change was made AFTER Pikachu was introduced.

Of course it wasnt. But it doesnt have to be stated in the anime to confirm it. It's wasnt clearly stated in the anime, but Ash's Pikachu is a male.

Umm, yes it does have to be stated to be confirmed. And about the tale, they'renot just going to put a dent in it tail and have all the little kids go "What happened to it?" Pikachu's gender has never been confirmed, it is simple as that.
It doesnt have to be "verbally" stated. If you watch any of the new Sinnoh episode, "Dressed Up With Somewhere to Go" in there when Pikachus doing the impressions, Buneary is blushing indicating that she likes him, making Pikachu a male. If we're not allowed to discuss this, then fine.

And queen what do you mean in the anime they only have male/female based pokemon?

And like I said before, there is no proof that Pikachu is male, Buneary does not confirm it in anyway. I've seen every episode and all the hints, it is still not officially confirmed which you are failing to realize.

Why does it have to be confirmed or stated? Buneary blushes when she see's Pikachu. Hides the fluff around its eyes and dances around.

Okay Megaman200798, let me level with you. You know Pikachu is male, I know Pikachu is male, everyone who watches the show knows Pikachu is a male, however according to Nintendo, the big bosses upstairs, Pikachu is as genderless as a Ditto. And no matter how much anyone agrees with you, until Nintendo confirms Pikachu gender, we cannot officially say Pikachu is male (Unofficially we can, but not officially).

    I consider Pikachu a female. :p
And Mimirol/Buneary is simply a lesbian.

And the idea of Buneary being a lez? Uh okay....weird

At least someone can see this from a different/my view. And Pikachu, we can't "unofficially" confirm that Pikachu is a male. I don't get what is so hard about understanding that it has NEVER been officially confirmed what gender Pikachu is. Most Generation 1 pokémon can't be confirmed since they were introduced before genders and gender differences.

Then what about Butterfree? Genders were never introduced in Generation 1, but it was considered male. Why does Pikachu's gender need to be confirmed? Pikachu does have a gendered, it can't be considered an "it" for his species.

What about Harley? Sure, he was weird, but nothing but that.

You know what, can we just drop the Pikachu-Gender Subject? Even if we come to a conclusion it'll be pointless. Besides, this thread is about Future Captures and Pikachu wasobtained in the very first episode of the Pokemon series.

However, if sometime during the anime you ever...

1....have someone referring to Ash's Pikachu as a male or calling it a "he"...
    2. ...Pikachu gets hit with a attract from a Pokemon which was confirmed to be female and is effected by it...
    3. ...see anotherPikachu beside Ash'swith a bent tail and it is confirmed that that Pikachu is a female...
    4. ...A Pokemon who has a crush on Ash's Pikachu (like Dawn's Buneary) and it is confirmed that it is female (The gender of Dawn's Buneary has NOT been confirmed)...

... then you may talk about this subject again but must give proof of your statement.

Now since we have that settled, I'm wondering about a few of Paul's Pokemon. We only know six... err...five (Elekid, Ursaring, Murkrow, Weavile, Torterra) and since he traveled as much as Ash he must surely have more then that. So what other Pokemon do you think Paul has?

Now I could easily see PAUL getting Magmortar. It'd be cool for him to have mortar and vire-if in fact elekid evolves. I would also love to see Chimchar (or one of it's evos depending on it's evolution status) pwn Magmortar in the Paul-has-a-tearful-epiphany episode

I said most Generation 1 pokémon, not including the anime's gender choosing. As for Harley, he is gay can't deny it in anyway.

since when does a male wear a dress?

Aipom and Buneary both wear a dress in one episode, pikachu doesn't.

That would be one messed up Buneary if it wasn't female

    Meh.

    Harley could simply be metrosexual.
    Or transgendered.
    Or ... gay lol

Not all gay people are feminine and stuff, but it's still funny thinking of Harley as it. In my opinion...he's really neither, he's just in love with himself.

dman_austin: Clearly you have never heard of cross dresers.

And to say it again: IT IS NOT OFFICIAL THAT PIKACHU IS MALE OR FEMALE OR WHATEVER.
I look at her as a female? Am I wrong? No. Is it wrong to look at Pikachu as a male, either? No.

Harley/Buneary being gay is ridiculous in the sense of this show. This game has many children viewers and aserting Harleys weirdness to another level is plain wrong.

Wasnt Pikachu wearing a tux in one episode, and Buneary wearing a dress
