    I think it was really weird that they eliminated Bug's weakness to Poison type moves after Gemeration 1. (or was it 2?) After all, Poison type moves now only are super-effective against Grass types, making them practically useless, with the exception of being able to poison opponents easily.

    well when u think about it, being able to poison easily is actually a good thing but on the plus side are resistant to bugs and u know as pokemomn goes on, they do more research and they change the weaknesses and strenghts based on the weaknesses and since some bugs are resistant to poison and some arent they just gave it a normal effect but thats just my guess.

    damnit can't post the link but I've seen a vid or 2 on youtube involving the new pokemon from the 5th generation.

    it's just a rumour, fan made btw the video, but heck!we're clutching at straws anyway here to get some info about it eh?

    you should have it then.

    from what I've see, some are really dodgy but others look cool..even saw an evolved form of mawile called mawvice..awesome steel-dark pokemon

    Once you said that video website I instantly knew the answer to this: FAKE. Nothing of the 5th Generation has been revealed, usually info begins to appear around the last movie of that generation, and an unmentioned Electric-type Pokemon was said to be starring as a hero in the 12th movie, however we don't know whether this means there will be a new Pokemon introduced or it's an electric-type we already know.

    if its fanmade its most likely fake i gotta give it to fan made vids though they are pretty convincing with the pics O.o

    yeah you're right it is fanmade..but they're gonna release a hack somewhere in 2009 and from the pokemon that I've seen on their website..wow..certainly looks cool.

    good storyline aswell; you get to chose if you wanna become good or evil for instance

    ph wow lol. well honestly i think pokemon will be ending soon like really it seem like they are running out of ideas and pokemon. i think the should just continue wth games and thats all. the anime at this point is pretty pointless. i mean seriously ash JUST got his 3rd badge!!!!at this rate it'll most likely be a couple of YEARS before h finally finishes sinnoh

    Ash has gotten 4 Badges in the Dub Version BUT:

    He has 5 already in Japan & 6 in a few weeks(December 25th). But Ash's Hearthome Gym & Canalave Gym matches are close(Episode-Wise somewhat BUT more likely Airing-Wise). Ash fought Fantina in November 20th in Japan. Ash will fight Byron in December 25th in Japan. If you look at the japanese airings of the D/P Saga, Ash's first 5 gym battles were about for example from Ash's Eterna Gym Battle to Veilstone Gym battle in Japan was from June 17th, 2007 to February 28th, 2008. The other gym battles were a few months(2-3) apart, while the Hearthome Gym Battle to the Canalave Gym Battle is a little over a month.

    New pokemon ideas: Suming
    normal/grass
    mostly normal,grass and ground moves, learns leafstrom at lv. 65
    Good phyical/special attack, low speed. a myth what the spiecies kills itself is common, actuly is evolutionary requirnment. .........................................................................
    Evolve underwater a 36+
    .........................................................................
    Tundming normal/ice
    water and ice replace ground and grass moves respectivly. blizzard at 65.
    Very good offence, slow speed.
    Frozen-like. icicles on it.

    It's actually a screen from a 12th Pokemon movie trailer, and there's probably a 90% - 95% chance that the mystery pokemon is from Gen. 5.

    well not to be negative or anything but i think pokemon needs to just continue as a game anyways. i mean u gotta admit the anime is gettin pretty pointless and repititive and even though it has gained bak a few fans thanks to sinnoh, it should just continue as a game. just my opinion. i mean seriously i was looking at the top ONE HUNDRED animtions and it wasnt even there!!! much to my surprise it lost to shows like baby looney tunes, winx club, the backyardians and dora the exlorer so yea thats pretty bad

    I do agree with you on some points such as the anime becoming repetitive and linear but in the long run, it can't be stopped. The anime basically sells the franchise. It's incorporated and tied in so many ways it will make your head spin. Quality doesn't matter when the new 8 year olds on the block can recognize Pikachu right away. It works for each generation.

    Bullet proof, formula. Rinse,wash, repeat.
