    Yeah I have been thinking dark/psycic for a long time now, it would only be weak to bug moves
    I actually never catch dark or psychic Pokemon, but I would if there were a dark/psychic Pokemon.
    I like dark pokemon, but I don't like pshychic pokemon that much except for the awesomeness of Xatu and Alakazam

    Anyways, I really don't support the 5th generation having new evolutions. Most people really didn't like Gen 4's, so I doubt Gen 5's will be any better.

    But this is the wrong thread for game talk. I hope there aren't many new evolutions of older pokemon in gen. 5, as well. Instead, let a stampede of fresh, new, unheard of pokemon charge in!! POKEMON SHALL NEVER DIE!!!! BELIEVE IT!!! Wait, I just quoted Naruto...

    Lol, you misunderstood me. When I said "This is the wrong thread for game talk", I meant it's the wrong thread to talk about stuff I've done in my Pokemon games. The right thread for that is the your pokemon team in any pokemon game thread.

    Yeah, and it would only be mega weak against Bug type moves, but teach it Flamethrower or Fire Blast, and it would be unstoppable (sorta) and totally awesome!

    We had a Rat for Gen 1, a Ferret in Gen 2, a Racoon? for Gen 3, & a Beaver for Gen 4. Wonder what's next for Gen 5? I was going to guess Weasel or a Skunk but theres already a few Pokemon that are these.

    I think Fighting/Flying and a pure Flying are both overdue. Dark/Electric could be very cool as could some of the stranger combos of Fire/Water, Water/Fire, Ice/Fire, and Fire/Ice. I made a list of all non-existant combos a while back, though I could rehash it if needed. I expect more pre/post evolution of non-legendaries and I really don't see why they simply don't make it so that all pokemon except legendaries (and Eevee and Ditto because God knows Eevee has enough changes and what Ditto could evolve into is quite beyond me) have three forms. I'd also like to see them use the elemental stones again.

    Well, they did create new elemental stones in gen. 4: Dawn, Dusk, and Shiny. I guess they could create more of them, but that doesn't really seem that important compared to other things. An evolution of Ditto sounds awesome, and I agree with you all the way with those type combos. A Poison/Dragon or Poison/Steel would be totally cool.

    True, but I wasn't thinking new stones so much as using the old stones again, or using them in better ways (for instance, allowing Espeon and Umbreon to evolve by stones). When was the last pokemon that evolved through a fire stone or thunder stone?

    I think creating at least one of every possible type combo would be very cool to see.

    If there is a 5th genereation then they should try to mix up the starting pokemon types...no more Water, Grass, or Fire...that is getting old. Try Rock, Flying of Ghost, or anyother combination.

    It has been confirmed for a long time now that there's going to be a 5th generation. And I don't think Pokemon would be the same anymore without more of the colorful Grass, Fire, and Water types. It would make it kinda dull IMO.
