Pokémon: Give the new voice actors a chance!

I know you guys miss the old actors (so do I), but give the new ones a chance. They're really trying hard and unfortunately I seem to be the only one making them feel welcomed. Also it's 4kids fault the old ones got replaced, not PokemonUSA (they were also sad they had to make the change). Trust me, I know the webmaster of the official Pokemon site and one of the heads and they are very nice men. Please give the new actors a chance.

I can tolerate a few (Misty, and Jessie) but everyone else is too annoying, May sounds really old

We already gave them a chance and the majority of them were horrible. You expect us to try and like them when they're that bad? Most of them don't sound like the old VAs (after we were promised sound-a-likes) and they aren't even that good. Either get the old VAs back or get better, more talented sound-a-likes that actually do sound like the old VAs.

No, no, no, and no. They had a chance and blew it. The originals are the only ones that can do the job. They have done it for so long. It's not right to replace them.

I agree with mstrgmr. Some were at least good enough to think about, the others just totally upset my ears.

Definitly agree, when i was watching it i had my head turned away from the screen for a minute and thought that it was Max talking.... I turned around.... and it was Ash!!!! My mouth droped and thats when i lost it and new i could not accept the new VA's!!!! Even the voices of the Pokemon sounded off, which i know is not nearly as important as Ash or Brock, but it bugged me nun-the-less!!!!!

The new voice actors are right now practicing so they won't sound sound as bad as you guys think they were. If they still aren't that good, please don't stop watching the show because of them. There are plenty of other good stuff in the show besides the voice actors.

Yeah, I agree with DragonMaskD, Your giving the new actors a hard time, plus, I think everyone here should know the truth, 4Kids Entertainment did not tell the old voice actors about there contracks, about keeping them only at 4Kids, thats the reason why TAJ Productions & Geneon Dubbing Distribution Industy could not use the actors, 4Kids said no at the request of Pokemon USA, Inc, so TAJ & Geneon could not use the actors, so even if you have a petition to try and bring them back, it will not help. I miss the old voice actors too, but, the new one's just started, only on one special and you guys are just making them sad, and, think about this, there would not be a Pokemon show if there were no actors. so please, give them a another chance, OK!!!!!

Only at 4Kids? I seem to remember a certain anime short that showed on CN's [AS] last fall (I think): Kakurenbo. As I remember, that had some 4Kids VAs in it. So why didn't the contract with 4Kids stop the old VAs from VAing in that?

Thanks for aggreeing with me MegaHL90. I'm shure the new voice actors are nervous taking over such big jobs and very few people are making them feel wanted. I also think it's an improvement getting rid of Harley's voice actor (never liked his dub voice). Once season 4 begins this fall the new actors will sound better. I am going to miss waking up in the morning to watch Pokemon Advanced Generation, but there's still 3 reasons I'm glad Pokemon's leaving WB.
1. KidsWB stinks. The only thing I like on KidsWB besides Pokemon Advanced Generation is Xiaolin Showdown. I also like Yugioh and Megaman but the dubs are horrible and there's still no release date for Megaman Stream.
2. Being on Miguzi means 5 new episodes a week instead of 1 (or 2).
3. The first Pokemon tv show (early and the first few episodes of mid Kanto) aired on UPN before it started airing on WB. Mom would always record them and then my sister (who sadly hates Pokemon now) and I would watch them after school. This will be like old times.

The things change and you need to give the voice actor a chance. I don´t hear them because I see the spanish dub and in spanish many voice changed but the world never ends after that.
