How do you honestly feel about this pokémon? If you ask me it is based on a stereotype of a Mexican person. It was even introduced in the episode "Go Go Ludicolo" as the Pokémon used by the Mexican trainer named Poncho. It loves to dance while shaking maracas and it resembles (and often gets mistaken for) a person wearing a large sombrero and wearing a poncho. I can't think of another pokémon who is more of a blatant stereotype. Can you?

I think Ludicolo is great, although it does seem like a Mexican person.

Well, you could also say that Chikorita is mexican too because of the Chika sound it makes. But I think Latios and Latias are more Itailian..

Maybe they are just trying to make some pokemon represent different nationallities. Its not totally a bad thing unless they are insulting a certian nationallity.

I love Ludicolo, there are tons of other pokemon that could be "stereotpyes" and you choose Ludicolo. This isn't a stereotype.

I haven't really thought about Ludicolo in that way. The only pokemon that I though was labelled a "stereotype was Jynx. O_o

Jynx is not a stereotype, that is just what one person believed and now more people believe it, Ludicolo is not a stereotype either, he is just based on a stereotype that has been around for a while.
