I hate how people complain that she is getting Buizel when Ash has had Pokémon of the same type on his team in the past. Who cares! I'm glad the writers are sort of braking traditions.

    Couldn't agree more!

I still think Dawn is going to get a Burmy too, since she tried to catch one and failed, along with several Buneary which she eventually got one of.

I also noticed a pattern in Dawn's pokemon

    P - Piplup
    P - Pachirisu

    B - Buneary
    B - Buizel
B - Burmy (if she gets one)

About SPD's comment: I know! Ash had Lapras and Squirtle at the same time, and no one complained then! I think it would have been cooler if Ash got it, but I'm not angry that Dawn gets it.

About Seaig's comment: Wow! I never noticed that before! There is that episode 'Hakutai Forest! The Burmy Evolution Plan!' coming out in Japan soon. Maybe she'll catch one then?

I wonder if she'll get another P-named pokemon too, to complete her set of 6 pokemon?

The only other P sinnoh pokemon is Purugly, and I doubt she'll get one. She might get a non-Sinnoh P pokemon or one that doesn't start with a P!

am really not complaining about her having to pokemon of the same type. i mean if gets another normnal type i won't mind electric ( i won't but maybe others ) look at may she had eevee and munchlax and i didn't comlain its the fact that its sharing spot lightt with her starter. i mean look at  " traditions"  may only torchic as fire type , ash only picachu as electric and Paul has only chimchar aswell as richie and most trainers / coordinatoors that have daily roles or often appearences except trainers/ coor.. that specialize in certain types : misty and brock: not recently but its good. i don't care anymore who gets it i just care for the bond that the trainer and starter share . i mean now piplup and bouzel  she will two opitions for a water type pokemon situation. imagine ash with a electabuzz aswell. ( no point for it) i rather have brock have it even though it suits ash better

News: Cheryl, who you team-up with in the Eterna Forest and at the Battle Tower, appears for at least 3 episodes in the anime and will be in a mini-saga in the Eterna Forest in which Ash, Dawn, Brock, and her look for sweet honey. Also, Gardenia will appear in the Turtwig episode. It is not the second gym though.

Serebii hasn't reveled this... yet. I always check back and forth and no news about this. SPD must've gotten this from Bulbapedia or the SPP Forums, who knows?

Yes, I am a member of Serebii Forums. Toonami Jetstream has a three minute preview of D/P featuring Ash and Brock's reunion and Ash's capture of Starly. Sorry, no Dawn.

Serebii is a well-known pokemon site that updates daily with pokemon news. It's very accurate and the site owner lives in Japan, so she can put pictures up as soon as new episodes air in Japan. Go to Serebii.net!

SPDShadowRanger: Wow, really? I gotta see the clip!

Funkfreak: I believe Serebii gets the episode pictures using Virtual dub. And he lives in England not Japan.

    Xiaolin_Warrior: Go here.
