Nothing else can really help, fighting is the only type super effective against normal, so bring a lot of whatever potion you use and revives

A strong Electric type can help out with Slakoth and Vigoroth.

Phycic Type could help, or Dustox.

Mine was a level 34, and brought a lot of potions, and super potions.

Plus it got me to Slaking, before it fainted.

I took it out with Level 32 Breloom.

Also it's good to have a Kirlia, or Gardevoir.

Try using a Ghost Type that knows at least one damaging attack that's not ghost type because ghost attacks don't affect normal pokemon and normal attacks don't affect Ghosts. A good example would be a Shedinja.

Or Sableye, since that's the only other ghost you could get right now

Thats only in Sappihire,Clockeravec12 has Ruby, besides gost attacks won't work on normal types, and vise versa.

Oh yeah, my bad, but it knows Faint Attack and Scratch, two attacks that would work

Remember, Clockeraver has Ruby, not Sapphire., Unless traded something for it.

Just keep training and going up against him until you win. Get as many battles under your belt as possible, trainer battles are the best.
