Toys R Us posted on their facebook account today that residents of the U.S. will be able to download the legendary pokemon Shaymin, one of the stars of the upcoming movie Giratina and the Sky Warrior, to their Diamond and Pearl games next month.
The event will take place February 8-14, and you can also get a coupon that will give you $5 off any Pokemon game for the Nintendo DS, and a free poster.

Why couldn't they have it at a GameStop, there is a GameStop a block down from me, but the nearest Toys R Us is like a 10 minute drive away.

They'll probably have a giveaway for the special Regigigas when Platinum is released or near to being released, advertising you can get the Golem Trio with it in Platinum.

That's an event which needs to be activated by Oak's Letter which were given out in Japan for the 11th movie.

Player: Okay, it's a few minute long walk but it'll be worth it to catch Shaymin!

Player: This turned to really easy to REALLY annoying, but still worth it!
*10 minutes later*
Player: Finally I'm here!...
*Sees field of flowers and hills*
Player: Son of a...
*Few minutes later, the player finally find Shaymin*
Shaymin: Shaaaaaay...
*Player kicks Shaymin and sends it flying*
Player: YOU WERE MORE ANNOYING THEN RUNNING POKEMON!

Do you have any friends or family members who has a DS? I'm sure they will allow you to use their DS for a quick minute to transfer the Event Shaymin from your Diamond/Pearl to your Platinum.

It's much safer when you own 2 DS's like me, because I don't trust most of my friends...... I mean fiends??

You don't need to trsut them, just use their DS. What I do is use both my DS and my cousins and let them watch me. As long as you have your hand on the controls of both DSs, you don't have much to worry about.

I don't have to worry about it, until my first DS(the grayish one) breaks. The part connecting the Touch screent o the top screen is broken, so I have to be careful with it. But I do want to buy the DSi but my parents would go insane, so I have to do buy it without them knowing.

These events sound gr8, & I'm excited to add these to my collection, especially Shaymin. It would've been better to have released Platinum, & THEN have the events, but I'm not complaining.
