I haven't been watching Pokemon for over a year, I stopped watching like mid way through season 9 (Watching it on the internet, not TV). Do you think I should finish season 9 and start watching the Diamond and Pearl series? Do you guys think the Diamond and Pearl series is any good? I mean, I really enjoy most of the gym battles/ tournaments, and the occasional episodes with good story/battles. The contests were ok too I guess. But what killed me was... the boring filler. I could only stand so much of the same filler (Random Pokemon introduced, pointless team rocket event, etc). The show also didn't have very good character development. For like every 10 episodes, I felt like there was only 1 I really liked.
I enjoyed season 1 for the most part, the end of season 2, season 5, the start of season 6, and the end of hoenn was ok. Is Diamond/Pearl any good, or will I just just be seeing more and more of the same filler, instead of good battles/story lines/character development? Is Dawn an interesting character? Pretty much... do you recommend I watch it?
