Ash and May have tension between them which escalates when the two are challenged to a tag battle. Upon loosing, the two argue and bicker, but like normal they foil Team Rockets plan... And thats about it. Some shippers think that Ash and May might be the next Ash and Misty because in this episode the team they are tag battling calls them a couple.

First off when Ash and May were fighting they were acting like brother and sister. When they were accused of being a couple by Team Rocket they didn't blush. Ash and Misty fight like an old married couple. When Team Rocket accused them of being in love and a couple they denied it and blushed.
