Do you see this show dying soon? Every season the ratings drop more. I just want the show to go out with a high note but I don't see that in this show's future. If you could control everything when would you have/will kill Pokemon? At the end of the second season or in 10 seasons? I feel the writing dropping and it's a sin. What do you think of Pokemon's current state?

I would have ended the show after the Johto league. I just did'nt like the new generation after the 2nd. But I do love the game boy games, if the show was ended the gams would to.

I agree. It should have ended after the Johto League. The Johto and Kanto regions are the best!

Same, i love the games and everything tho. The only reason i believe i think like this is because they got rid of Misty who was my favorite character and i still havent been able to get over it .

The TV show probably won't die (I hope because the voice changes are a real guillotine) but Pokemon is a multimillion dollar production. As long as the games sell well, the cards sell well and every other gimmick sells well it should be fine. (I hope.)

I can almost guarentee that this show will be just going out when the majority of us have kids in their preteens. They'll fit in maybe seven new seasons and slip quietly out the back door when nobody's looking.

Though I'm kind of hoping that it goes out after Pokemon Chronicles, the newest series, because it's been stale for the past eight years. It's been around for a decade already, it's time to give it a rest.

Pokmon did end after Johto. Hoenn and Kanto Battle Frontier are a new show called Pokemon Advanced Generation. Many people including Pokemon fans (mostly Americans) mistake it for more seasons when it's not. I also don't want it to end ever. The new ones are waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay beter than the old ones. It's also still doing good in ratings, where did you think it gets worse each season? Also I am very surprised you think the Johto series is better than the Hoenn series because the Johto series was the worst. 1/2 was good the other 1/2 was dull. Hoenn did more than apologise for Johto's bad episodes.

It did end after Johto because the episode count reset to 1 as soon as Hoenn started.

the early Episodes in kanto were awesome.... then johto came and sucked ass with few exceptions... the johto series is mostly lke this: an episode about a certain pokemon... say Delibird... then ash and the gang come across it and boring stuff happens untill team rocket comes in and tries to steal it then Delibird would use his special move accompanied by pikachus thunderbolt which sends Team Rocket blasting off again.

I'm a long time pokemon fan but i never actually saw the hoenn episodes i dunno why but i hear they're pretty good.

You've been lied to. Aside from the occasional amusing episode, the entire territory's been a bore. The same plot lines are recycled again and again.

What annoys me is that people who claim to be such great pokemon fans can watch this continue every week and still think that another 10 seasons are in order.

Yeah, they're going to kill someone off on a show meant for little kids, just because it's on the Serebii Forums doesn't mean it's true

That is Japan. In Japan the Hoenn Saga was considered a new series in the same timeline. This is not true in the U.S. learn your facts
