He's right you know. By what I have seen, the show will be canceled from one of these four reasons.
1) It becomes cancelled in Japan, thus no more new episodes.
2) It gets cancelled here due to bad ratings.
3) Ash finally becomes a Pokemon Master.
4) Everybody dies a terrible death and nobody would know why because it would be censored here in the US.

Well, number 4 is out of the picture for sure. The show will stop due to reason number 1. The show actually was almost cancelled here after Season 9, but fans demanding save it from cancelation so It won't be canceled until Japan stops making it.

The show will end when Japan stops making it. Ash will never get every pokemon unless they make an episode that takes place in the future.

Well, I definately don't think there are going to be another 10 seasons of pokemon in order, but it may stay around for a couple of more years. I still like the games!

i guess they'll end it after they stop making the games, which is unlikly to happen anytime soon.
i think if they do end it, the last episode should be about what happends when they are older. Like say Ash could be a gym leader, Brook could be married with a big family, Misty could have her own water pokemon gym. You know end with everyone happy.

I wish they would atleast show them aging!! Hasnt Ash been ten for,.....what......... 8 years. In the show he should be atleast 12 or 13 by now!!! Does anyone agree with me?!?

Yes and no.

Yes, he has aged because it took him a year to get back to Viridian City in the very first season, so it takes months to get around the regions. He's probably at least 15 by now.

Remember that it's a show. A few days take place in an between the episodes, so you can't think in our time frame.

Misty basically has her own gym already. Her sisters only use it for swimming shows. Plus, why would Ash train to be a pokemon master just to end up as a Gym Leader? that would be stupid.
