    Just saw 17, and, i just realized how much i love the series' new mechanic. Cutting off TR plotline from Ash's works out perfect, you get all the trainer growth stuff minus shoe-horning bad guys into it, while instead adding a small subplot of TR being total badasses and... being total badasses.


    And huzzah for Ash's Zuraggo (sp?) having such a weak headbutt that needs Scary Face before doing damage, a welcome nod to the fact that it's a defensive pokemon. And, five or so years ago, would we BELIEVE that Ash had a full roster by the 17th episode of the new region? XD

    I know Ash has his quirks and flaws but i still think it's mean for Iris to call him a child, especially since she looks barely older than him (what, a year at the most?). Sure all of Ash's other female companions busted his chops every now and then, but May and Dawn actually did it so rarely and Misty's criticism had died down greatly by half way in season2.

    Leer and Scary Face are not the same thing. They are two different and distinct moves and should not be confused with each other.

    Come on, they involve the user using his face to make the foe doubt itself and lower a stat, i can have a slip with stats move every now and then, no? ^^;

    BW019 - Sommelier Showdown!Dwebble(The Crab) vs Dewott(Futachimaru)!!

    Air Date- February 17th.....(Naruto Special February 10th).


    Small Summary- Inside a newly opened Pokemart, Kaberune, an officially authorised Pokemon Sommelier is 'tasting' Pokemon and their Trainers. What happens when Ash presents the/a Pokemon he is proud of....?


    Note: Oshawott appears in BW020, so no, this Futachimaru is not Ash's.

    I believed it's basically like the Poketch's Friendship Checker, Sommelier's are trained to be able to tell if a Trainer and a Pokemon is compatible. However I already have doubts about this as I believed when Dent "tasted" Ash & Pikachu he said they didn't share a strong bond... Then again being how young Dent is he's probably still in training so who knows, if the Pokemon that Ash is presenting this Sommelier is Pikachu and says they have a strong bond I'll reconsider Sommeliers though if he also says they don't share a strong bond... I'm sorry, but Ash and Pikachu probably have the strongest bond of any trainer and Pokemon and if you say you were trained in recognizing bonds and don't see it, I'm sorry, but your entire trainer class is a hack and I'm worried about all the bonds who've previously "tasted" as you might have steered them in the wrong direction which will cause them to further apart from each other.

    TPCi have just sent a press release out which states that the new series; Pokémon Black & White is starting with a special of the first two episodes on February 12th at 9am From: Serebii


    So now we have it airing one week after DP191. Nice! When was the last time we had a 1-hour special.... the Battle Frontier Saga?

    WOW THAT IS SERIOUSLY AWESOME!


    First Bug type since Heracross!


    First Grass type that's not a starter, and it's a second for his team!


    First Pokémon caught whilst he has a full team since Krabby!


    This bodes seriously well for Best Wishes. Catching any Pokémon is now a possibility.


    Although he's apparently sent one of his Pokémon to Juniper? Why her instead of Oak? Is it because he's still hanging out in Unova somewhere?

    Unova is farther away from Kanto than the other regions, so sending them to Juniper is quicker and easier, not to mention she's familiar with Unova Pokemon, Oak is not.

    Plus, Oak is still in his vacation with Ash's mom, no? Also, that bug pokemon is like spider-man with its webbing. And that is AWESOME.

    Let's predict who got sent back. My guess is on Tepig or Pidove. There was a big deal over Snivy getting caught; Zuruggu just hatched; without Oshawott, Pikachu would get every battle unless it's knocked out. I guess Tepig and Pidove because much hasn't really been done with them yet, but I could be a bit wrong cause I'm only caught up to the museum episode.
