I did and I'm getting a Jolteon, however I agree that this is kind of an annoying way to do it. Japan got to choose which one they want right off the bat, we have to play a stupid game where WE DON'T GET TO CHOOSE WHICH ONE WE GET AT THE END (well, sorta, the "elemental" balls that drop determines which one you get so technically you could aim for one of the Eeveelution but the problem is that not all the elemental orbs appear (they have Fire, Water, Electric for the first few rounds, then they add Psychic and Dark, then at the very end they have Ice and Grass) and dodging the orbs mean you're not paying attention to the ball which is a bad idea)! Weirdest part is this is something you'd think the Japanese would do as in the U.S. they just will give us the choice/Pokemon up front (heck, with the Shiny Beast Trio they gave us all of them while in Japan you could only get one!).
I hate that game too, and I don't care which Eeveelution I get, so long as its a female, cause by that logic, and potentially hours and hours of breeding and hatching, one can possess all of their dream world abilities, right?

Yes, if the Pokemon with the Hidden Ability is female, there is a 40% chance the offspring will have its Hidden Ability. So for Eevee you have to hatch one with the Ability Anticipation. And before you think "well maybe if I don't get a female Eeveelution I might be able to get a Dream World Ditto and use that to only breed with my male Eeveelution but also my other male Pokemon who's Hidden Ability I want!", the game considers Ditto as "male" even if it's breeding with a female Pokemon so you better hope that Eeveelution comes out as a female.
I was going to ask this in the Q&A thread, but as its locked... Anyways, when you bring a Pokemon from the Dream World to your Entralink, can you soft reset your game it to change its gender or is the gender set in stone when it arrives in your Entralink?
Also, how do you download stuff like C-Gear skins?
How do you take more than one Pokemon from your Friend Board in the Dream World to the Entralink?

It's not locked.
1. The Gender is seen when you first encounter it
It's locked from where I'm standing.
Yeah, you can see the gender on the computer screen, so once it's decided there that's that.
Hmm...I thought all Pokémon on the friend board went to Entralink automatically? I dunno, I've just game synced every day so I've only ever had one there.
