    Well, with Arceus' official revelation only a few days a way, it's time for this thread.

    The 12 Pokemon movie and the third and final installment in the Diamond and Pearl trilogy will be released in Japanese theaters on July 18, 2009. Not much is know about the movie is know at the moment, but it will feature Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, Arceus, and a special "Notched-Ear" Pichu.

    The setting is based on Greece. Check back for details that should be released later this week.

    Another poster has been revealed, showing that Heatran and the 3 Johto Starters might be in the movie. It's not known yet if this means anything, though.

    It's the last of the DP trilogy, and I'm guessing that Arceus is sick of the fighting between Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina, so it's going to settle things itself.

    Very interesting. Being there isn't much information about it, I can't make any real observations about it. However it's about time Giratina also went after Palkia, Dialga is only half at fault for what happened to the Torn World. No idea what they dark ball is, I don't think it's an entrance to the Torn World. Actually, it kind of looks like an eclipse.

    As for the three Johto Starters, maybe they are friends with the Notched-Ear Pichu (They are from the same generation (Generation II)). Though I can tell you that this will only fuel speculations that a Gold & Silver Remake is in process (whether this is true or not can't really be certain).

    And Heatran, well they had to add him into the anime or movies sooner or later. So with Heatran appearing, all Sinnoh Legendaries except for Uxie have made an appearance in the anime whether through the main series or movies. However Uxie will most likely be seen when Ash and co. go up to Snowpoint for Ash's Gym Battle and possibly a Pokemon Contest for Dawn.

    Awsome! Yay Arceus is revealed. Hmm, but i wonder what Heatran's role will be? And i also wonder what the Giant Black Thing on the poster is? Like someone said, it could be an entrance to the Torn World or it could be an Eclipse ( How do you spell it?).

    It may be a way to show evidence of Gold & Silver Remakes but I am sad to not see a picture of Ash & Co.'s Pokemon

    OMG, my favorite starter is gonna be in the movie!? *huggles a random Totodile plushie* I've missed you in the anime and now you get to be in a movie! I agree that the large black thing looks like an eclipse and something is coming out from it... Maybe thats how Arceus arrives, like out of a large eclipse or when a bunch of planets line up. Then how would all this involve Heatran and that adorable Pichu? Oh well, guess we'll find out later...

    Some more news about the 12th movie has been revealed. Apparently, the official site has confirmed the appearance of Heatran and the Johto Starters in the movie, but while they gave all the details for them, they strangely said that all 4 of them are new pokemon. They haven't yet revealed their purpose in the movie.

    The Johto starters are not new Pokemon. I especially know because Ash managed to capture all 3 of them during the Johto Saga. I wonder why it said that the Johto starters were new.

    It's painstakingly obvious to everyone here that they're not new pokemon, you don't have to know that Ash caught them to know that. -_- The only things I can come up with is that they either they made a mistake when they said that, or they're not the Johto Starters at all, but Generation 5 Pokemon in disguise... or something like that.

    Couldn't they have meant that they were new Pokemon revealed to the Movie? Or it could have been translated wrong, it's possible.

    Who cares if they said it wrong? Why do you guys care so much if they said it was new? They are in the movie so enjoy that.

    It has now been officially announced... and with this announcement there are no more secret Pokemon... the Pokemon Company confirms the existance of all the Pokemon that we know of... that's right... ALL of them... including Pokemon #493...

    Note the letters in red/orange are Arceus's name in kanji/hiragana/katakana (it's one of the three).
