There's no sense in Pokemon.
I do enjoy Ash getting creamed after he beat poor Paul. Woot
So Heracross and what is going to battle Dark?

Inferape would be good since its part fighting. Primape anyone? lol Gliscor is good too. |
If you're asking for Primeape you might as well also ask about Pidgeot... and I remind you that Ash was SUPPOSE to go back and get Pidgeot (or at least visit it...).

Yea, Ash is a baaaaaaaad trainer. Poor Pidgeot, waiting and waiting in that forest.
But Primape would be a good match for Darkrai right? It might come back cause Gliscor came back after it was Primped

Yay, but who knows where Primeape is though. Ash gave Primeape to Anthony WAY BACK in Season 1 and since then Ash has traveled to 3 other regions after Kanto, who knows where Primeape is now.
We all know Ash will never see Primeape or Pidgeot again.
we still have Spurt to show that they arent forgotten

But it could appear. Writers are doing "new things" so bringing back his old pokemon would be great. Possibly in the V, Primape could evolve and it'd be a nice way to introducte it back.
Though Pigeot, would probably only be seen if he goes back to Pallet.
Hopefully Paul will go to this new region with Ash. It'd be great to contiune the rivilary.

But Ash has gone back to Pallet after going from another region THREE times, and this will be a fourth and yet he has visit the forest he left his Pidgeot.
Yay, I'm hoping Paul will be in Isshu as well.
actually it'll be his 5th IIRC
remember he went back home after he was done with the BF
he should've seen him then

Yea, the writers screwed up there. They have Ash go back to Pallet, EVEN have the song title show all his old pokemon back, and still he doesn't get reunited with Pidgeot? What the hell?
The only reason Ash is winning his match against Paul is because Paul is using a totally new team. A loss to Ash should kick Paul just right to possibly follow Ash to the new Isshu.
Will the new charact make an appear in the league? Like with Blazkien/Harrison to force Ash to go there?

I was debating whether to include the Battle Frontier or not as it was set in Kanto. If you were to count the arcs he was in Kanto, it would be altogether six times:
1. Ash coming home after Kanto League.
2. Ash coming home after Orange Island League.
3. Ash coming home after Johto League.
4. Ash coming home after Hoenn League.
5. Ash coming home after Battle Frontier.
6. Ash coming home after Sinnoh League.
Any as for Paul, he isn't the "revenge" type, if we see him in Isshu is because Paul "just so happen" to go to the next region Ash is going.
As for how Ash is going to find out about Isshu, well he already knows about it as
!!!SPOILERS BELOW!!!
at the end of the 13th movie they say good-bye Zoroark and Zorua who are on a boat heading to Isshu.
!!!SPOILERS ABOVE!!!
However, it's most likely that Professor Oak is going to tell them about it or something like that.

I'm not even sure Ash will be winning against Paul. From the looks of it, I think Ash might lose to Paul again. The battle is very close and all three of Ash's remaining Pokemon are looking very tired out, while Paul has two very strong Pokemon remaining, namely Drapion and Electivire. Plus, Ash's Infernape has already defeated two of Paul's Pokemon, and Infernape has never defeated more than two of an opponent's Pokemon before. I don't see how Infernape could possibly still have the strength left to defeat Paul's Electivire. I know that there is a Heracross shown battling Darkrai in the episode following the conclusion of Ash and Paul's battle, but it's not necessarily Ash's Heracross. Barry and Conway have both been seen using a Heracross in previous episodes, so perhaps Paul has somehow managed to obtain a Heracross as well after seeing that Ash, Barry, and Conway all have a Heracross. I personally think it will be Paul who goes on to face the Darkrai trainer.

Usually the movies and anime doesnt go together right? Cause Ash usually "forgets" anything from the movies.

Is it Reggies Drap or is it his own? If it was Reggie's, it explains why it was able to KO Ash's pokemon. But beisdes from Drapion power, Electravire, all his other team was "new".

The anime is canon, but at most it's just a long, bigger budget filler episode.
As for Paul's Pokemon, I'm sure he has plenty we've never seen before. Remember Paul has travelled through Kanto, Johto, and Hoenn too, I'm pretty sure he has many powerful Pokemon we haven't yet seen.
