I have been collecting these episodes for a while and am watching them in order but my biggest concern is where do the Pokemon movies fit in during the episodes. Like are they supposed to be just seperate stories or do they follow the episode timeline. If anyone could help me out with this that would be great!

They do follow the timeline, use the episode guide to find out where

The episode guide doesn't tell that anymore they removed the movies from it!

When you go to the episode guide, go to view all seasons and they should show up. They really aren't within the timeline, they just happen in the region were Ash is traveling, Movie 1 - Kanto, 2 - Orange Islands, 3-5 - Johto, and 6-8 - Hoenn, then 9 - in Kanto agian.

The movies have names, like Spell of the Unown, Jirachi Wishmaker, Destiny Deoxys, etc., making them like episodes.  The Yu-Gi-Oh movie is like that too in the guide.

Most anime movies have names! They are basically like specials here and there, they just fall into the region of the corresonding season.

It sure was a special to see the first 3 movies and the Yu-Gi-Oh movie on the big screen.  4Ever was never out at movies around here, even though I read that it was in other places.

The movies don't really fit in with the storyline but they are where they should go in the episode guide
