It won't evolve, if it was, if would have by now or by the end of the Battle Froniter. If it doesn't evovle before Ash goes to Shinou, then it probably won't ever unless it pulls a Phanpy.

ok what the heck is shinou? i thought that battle frontier was the new region, i mean it is in kanto yes, but may has the contests to do and then ash still has to go to the finals for the frontier so what it is shinou.

May is done, she has lost in the Grand Festival and Ash just needs to have a rematch with Brandon. Shinou is the land that Diamond and Pearl take place in
