    We know that but we wanna know why the writers did that. Also Chimecho is going to be in one of James' old mansions to heal from something and James is going to catch a Mime jr.

    Arbok and Weezing were left to protect a group of Ekans and Koffing

    That's not what he was asking there, but the writers wanted to get rid of the older Pokemon to keep the show looking new

    They don't, it was the title of an episode and all they did was Jessie switched to Butch and James switched to Cassidy for a little while

    Meowth isn't that strong. I think he holds the robot plans and comic relief in the series. He sometimes fights and loses every time. Maybe once or twice he won.

    Yeah. I was asking why Jessie and James decided to get rid of their beloved original pokemon. They actually sound like they've been quite nice in setting their pokemon free.
    Letting Victreebel go cos it found love is rather nice to do, as is leaving Arbok and Weezing to protect a group of Koffing and Ekans.
