    They can still be in the movie. Being Ho-Oh is the master of the Beast Trio, I'm sure if they are involved then so it Ho-Oh. Though whether Lugia and/or its Bird Trio are also involved is unknown.

    isnt this the time where we come up with rediculous plot questions!?
    im not the type of person who likes to speculate especially since most of the stuff we predict usually doesnt happen

    So Raikou is finally in a movie, good for him. Plot seems interesting, though I'm still confused by why Lugia and Ho-Oh are in the trailer, but the three Legendary Dogs and Celebi are on the poster.

    I'm speculating that the birds (or dragon and bird) will maybe cause detsruction by fighting and the dogs + celebi will have to stop them

    Raikou: at least you got a previous appearance even if it was a fake entei

    ho-oh: well at least you got to appear in that special.....twelve movies and I finally appear

    lugia: says the first legendary AND johto pokemon to appear

    They likely won't have a large part in the movie, the first trailer is always irrelevant to the movie itself. It pretty much only confirmed that Ho-oh and Lugio will Not fight eachother at any point of the movie.

    that would be stupid ho-oh and lugia are the main legends of HG/SS not some extra legends making them the side legends wouldnt be right

    The plot of the movie sounds interesting, even though it doesn't sound like the greatest yet IMO. It's nice that Raikou finally gets a real appearance outside of Chronicles (the silhouette that Togepi and the Houndoom saw doesn't really count), but it's starting to sound like the writers are just stuffing the movie with Legendaries again... I honestly think that Lugia and Ho-oh are enough, it gives the movie more meaning for it to not have Legendaries popping up like the common Pidgey.

    well look ruler of time: Dialga Ruler of Space: Palkia... Ruler of illusion: Pokemon "Z"... what pokemon will speak in this movie? Like Darkrai,Shaymin, and Arceus??

    True, we also have the non-Legendary Ditto.

    I'm sticking with the "Z" guy being the villain who can just create illusens and disguise himself as other people.

    BTW, if anyone is wondering, apparently some of the plotline of the movie is known: In the future the Legendary Beasts are fighting so Celebi goes back to the past to find out why. And that's it for now.
