Saturday 8:30 AM on Cartoon NetworkIn Season
Today The Pokemon Company and Nintendo have announced that the 16th Pokemon movie, Pokemon the Movie: Genesect and the Legend Awakened will premiere on Cartoon Network on Saturday October 19. The movie will be followed by a special sneak preview of the XY anime series which will include the first two episodes of the XY Series airing months before Season 17 actually starts.
So wait we get a new Pokemon: Adventures in Unova, the sixteenth movie AND two new XY Episodes? They should just call it Pokemon Saturday!
But, seeing the XY episodes before the end of AiU may be a problem....

11 AM ET/10AM CT - Kyurem vs. the Sword of Justice
12:30 PM ET/11:30 AM CT - Genesect and the Legend Awakened
2 PM ET/1 PM CT - Season 17 1 hour sneak peak.

Just watched the movie a few hours ago witht the first episode of XY and was confused to why they gave Mewtwo a girl's voice. Is he supposed to be different Mewtwo, which i thought would be impossible unless they redid the experiment.
It's very sad the new XY series doesn't have a theme song anymore. That was always the most exciting part.

Yeah they totally screwed that up lots of people are annoyed by it, I wonder if it was becauseDan Green wasn't able to do it

Even if he wasn't available, why was it a girl's voice? They could have got a sound alike like LittleKuriboh. He also didn't seem to know who Ash was.

I mean as a general story they could have had it so this mewtwo was the same one as before which would make more sense then a second one
Don't you guys remember this is a new Mewtwo? It even had a special anime episode (which we will probably not be getting) which explains its origins. Don't know any specifics, I just know it's a second Mewtwo that was created for some reason.
And if the games can have multiple Mewtwo's why not the anime? We know that at least 3 Mewtwo exist: The one from Cerulean Cave (though the continuity of that one is up for questioning since it appears in HeartGold & SoulSilver), the one that was on the Sky Fortress in the Pokemon Ranger games, and one that is in the Pokemon Village in XY. Of course I suppose you can argue that after Gold/Kris/Soul disturbed it at Cerulean Cave it moved out of Cerulean Cave, got caught by the Societea caught Mewtwo and was just keeping it in suspended animation until they needed it, and after it was freed it fled to the Pokemon Village in Kalos.
Then we have to question the continuity of the Mystery Dungeon games which all have Mewtwo in it as well as the one that appears in Pokemon Conquest even though that game takes place before modern science.
Let's just assume that as long as you have some Mew DNA and a mad scientist, you can probably create a Mewtwo who will no doubt go berserk and escape.

Is it said in the movie? In the trailer they have Ash recognize its a Mewtwo but does Ash reveal he had met a Mewtwo before but this is not the one?
Well, glad there was a reason why this Mewtwo didn't know Ash or treat him nicely, and why it had a female voice. Still, I wonder what happened to that Mewtwo.
