    According to a poster in Japan, Hikari will be getting Buizeru instead of Ash.

    So? That doesn't mean anything. Misty had more than one water type, so can Hikari.

    but that was here specialty misty LOVES water pkmn and hikari seem s to love contests, i realy highly doubt that hikari will get buizel ( like 99.9 % she won't )  it would. its like ash having another electric pkmn. or may another fire type. your starter is special so they don't have the same type so that it won't lose it stardom. Except special trainer or gymleaders that try to spread the beaty of thier specific preference, brock likes rock types but still gets others just like misty but they getget thier fav more often.besides buizel fits ash better ( to me) but i would be a HUGE surprise is hikari got it instead of ash or hell even brock

    that source has to be wrong ( maybe .01 % )

    i don't mean other starter he catches later on but the first one he recieve i know he has had similar types before but ash won't get another electric type, because pikachu was first like torchic was first to may a nd piplup was to hikariso hikari wouldn't get a other water type beacuse that would cause envy between themfor the bond that they had

    on the topic of episodes rather than captures, the 500th episode will soon be airing. this means an evolution for one of the pokemon. any ideas? my money's on Ash's Aipom.

    ON serebii.net, Hikari's English name has been revealed, as well as the first 5 dub titles of Diamond and Pearl. Go check them out.

    By checking Cartoon Network's site, Season 10 is OFFICIALLY confirmed to be called Diamond and Pearl. Also, Hikari and Shinji's names are now Dawn and Paul.

    First 5 D/P titles:

    1) Following a Maiden Voyage!

    2) Two Degrees of Separation!

    3) When Pokémon Worlds Collide!

    4) Dawn of a New Era!

    5) Gettin' Twiggy With It!

    I kinda like those names, but they're kind of out of nowhere. I think gettin' twiggy with it is a great name.
