yeah because you should share a bond with your first pkmn so if you get the same type unless that your specialty, ( ex: gymleaders, misty etc) because it would share the job with the similar type like putting out fire , starting a fire etc. hopefully she won't then what water type would ash get mantyke or shellos. because he always gets a water pkmn that can be on land and bouzel is the only one except piplup (taken).

Couldn't agree more! I still think Dawn is going to get a Burmy too, since she tried to catch one and failed, along with several Buneary which she eventually got one of. I also noticed a pattern in Dawn's pokemon P - Piplup P - Pachirisu B - Buneary B - Buizel B - Burmy (if she gets one) |

A bit wierd, like Torkoal crying all the time, Corphish not knowing when to quit, etc. Sorry that I didn't write it very well.

Oh! I get it now! It's okay that you didn;t write it well. I haven't seen the DP episodes, but I think Aipom is his wierd pokemon because he keeps taking Ash's hat.
