Hmm. Heres what i think about several of the things that people are talking about that they arent sure about.
Heatran: Maby Heatran will have a role in this movie like Regigigas did in Movie 11? Hey guys,You know that Poster with heatran on it? Well if you look close enough, you can see a small temple in the background. Perhaps, Heatran is Guarding it?
The Gen 2 starters: I have no idea why they are here, but maby they could be friends with The Spiked Ear Pichu, which someone said. Or maby they are just wild pokemon that The group Befriended? We will just have to wait and see.

Makes me wonder if the Movie will take place in the Sinnoh Battle Frontier Saga. Because Heatran lives near there. Maybe that temple is in Stark Mountain.
We got to see Regigigas awaken from Snowpoint Temple, did anyone notice that from Movie 11? Not saying that I was first to know that but did anyone know that it was Snowpoint Temple?

Well, they can make the Stark Mountain look way different than it does in the games. Maybe Stark Mountain & Spear Pillar are near eachother in the Anime Map(I know that Stark Mountain is reasonably far from Spear Pillar but Anime Map's seem different to the Game Maps). I am certain that Spear Pillar is in the Movie, as well as Stark Mountain.
Yeah, they could make it look different. Im just excited that Arceus has been revealed.

Since Arceus has been revealed to be in this Movie, I have thoughts that the Anime will be ending. 12 Movies is enough & over 500 Episodes is enough as well. Hopefully Ash wins the Sinnoh League or somehow gets to challenge the Elite 4 afterwards! Then Dawn is able to follow in her mothers footsteps & wins the Grand Festival. As for Brock, becomes a Top Breeder & meets the girl of his dreams. Movie 12 seems like a movie that will finish it off, though there will be some more episodes afterwards.

Well the whole place they are at in the poster looks to be like ruins. Infact the setting the movie takes place in was based on Greece so there being a temple is no big surprise. As for Heatran's role being a small one like Regigigas' was, I think that that might be the most likely role it'll play as it has no real reason to be in the movie (the movie is about Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, and Arceus).
As for the Gen 2 Starters, I think they are friends of the Spikey-Ear Pichu. They could have been added in to either give a hint of a GSDS remake OR the Pokemon Company want to play a cruel jokes on out heads because we think it's a "hint" to GSDS.
Or who knows, maybe their will be a side plotline about Pichu and the Gen 2 Starters being chased by Heatran for an unknown reason.

According to the Episode Guide, Japan is already in "Season 12" (I put quotes over it because they don't really have seasons in Japan, it's just how the dud splits each episode in a saga up). There has been no clue to the Sinnoh Battle Fronter so we might have to wait till Season 13 as they're planning to have it on another part of Siinoh or maybe even in Johto.
However I don't think Ash and co. will be near Stark Mountain by the time of the movie AND Regigigas didn't wake up from the Snowpoint Temple, wherever it woke up from it was nearby Gracidea (Just because the place is ice and snow covered doesn't mean it's nearby Snowpoint City).

Last time I checked, Arceus is the Creater Pokemon (I know its Species name is Alpha Pokemon, but people look to it as the Creator Pokemon), not the Armageddon/Apocalypse/End Time Pokemon. Let's look at things this way:
Pokemon is one of Nintendo's most popular franchises along with Mario and Legend of Zelda. Each game that comes out makes big bucks (it usually makes it to the top of the charts) whether it be from the main series or from a side series. So why in the world would they decide to end it out of the blue? They have probably a heavy sealed vault filled with thousands of ideas and rough sketches of species of Pokemon just waiting to become real. Did you know Shellos were originally planned to appear in Ruby and Sapphire? They were cut due to time restraints, but added into Diamond and Pearl because their concept was fully thought out and was rareing to go.
Simply put, as long as Pokemon makes money, Pokemon will be around. The anime is there to premote the games, so therefore the anime will exist as long as it serves this purpose.

No, none of the Gen 2 Starters in the movie look to have different body styIes. Only Pokemon different there is the Spikey-Ear Pichu.
I think they are "new" to the movie, not new Pokemon.
