Yay, plenty of times. May have lost like 1 or 2 in each region she participated in (Hoenn and Kanto). Dawn has lost a lot more times then that as you may know if you've been watching the anime.

No, they don't age. Ash is still 10, and he will remain 10. Doesn't matter how many regions he's been to, he's still 10. The only mention of time in the anime is days and weeks, but that is pretty much it and they don't specify about it. Don't liek it, complain to Dialga, he's the one slacking on the job by fighting with Palkia all the time.

Lol, you misunderstood me. I meant it like a "COTD" type of deal, or just somebody random that's not a main, recurring, or somebody we've seen more than once.

Well, there's Janet who won the Rustboro City Contest in AG013 - All Things Bright and Beautifly, and Robert who won the Slateport City Contest in AG035 - Win, Lose or Drew(although, he also appeared again and won the Hoenn Grand Festival). Not to mention the thousands of other coordinators who win contests and and grand festivals in all of the regions every year off screen.

Pretty much what pikastatic100 said. To summeries it up quickly, here is the full run down:

AG013 "All Things Bright and Beautifly" - Janet (However, May didn't participate in this Contest)
AG035 "Win, Lose or Drew!" - Robert
AG123 "Rhapsody in Drew" - Robert

However this is mainly only for May, for Dawn she only lost to Rivals or to Team Rocket. In case you're wondering, here is a list of Contests Rivals and Team Rokcet won:

    AG078 "Cruisin' for a Losin'" - Drew
    AG160
    "Harley Rides Again" - Harley
AG181 "Channeling the Battle Zone" - Solidad
    DP012
"Arrival of a Rival" - Zoey
    DP049 "Dawn's Early Night" - Nando
    DP061
    "Team Shocker!" - Jessie

Is there any real point in shining your gym badges in the DP games, or is it just so you can make them look nicer?

Also, is there any purpose for the Foreign Building in Hearthome City that doesn't play any music when you go inside?

What were all the Pokemon that hatched in the series and what episodes did they hatch?

Misty's Togepi(now Togetic) hatched in EP050 - Who Gets to Keep Togepi? Ash's Phanpy(now Donphan) hatched in EP232 - Hatching a Plan. And May's Eevee(now Glaceon) hatched in AG157 - Time Warp Heals All Wounds.

    Shining Badges:
No real purpose except to make them look nice. Also the shinnier they are the louder the note they make, but that also doesn't do much. Though being each badge gives off one of the notes in a scale (Do Re Me Fa So La Ti Do), I suppose you could play simple music on it if you tried hard enough.

    Foreign Building/Church/Cetherdral:
Yay, I don't know why it's there. Maybe so kids who go to Church on Sunday can still play their Diamond and Pearl on that day, lol! Anyone it has nothing in it in both the Japanese and Enlgish version and no news on it has been revelation has been made on it in Platinum that we know of. So for now, it is for fancy scenery.

    Ash's Phanpy - EP232 "Hatching a Plan"
Larvitar - EP258 "Hatch Me If You Can"
May's Eevee - AG157 "Time Warp Heals All Wounds"
Brock's Happiny - DP038 "One Big Happiny Family!

NOTE: I do not know why everything is in bold, the forums have been so messed up in the codeing ever since they changed it it's not even funny. Another problem I encountered that it no longer underlines anything except for links!

I just read an article on Wikipedia that there is a live adaption of Pokemon coming with David Henrie playing Ash Ketchum and Joon Park as Brock. Is there any truth to this or is it fake?

    Fake. Absolutely fake.

I'm gonna guess this isn't known, but I'll ask anyway. Out of all the times Ash has used Tauros in battle, does he just keep using the same one or does he use different Tauros every time? He has thirty of them, after all.

Not known. Many people suspect that he might use the leader of the herd but this hasn't been proven.

In the games, are shiny pokemon more powerful than their non-shiny counterparts, or are they just special because they're really, really rare and have different colors?

You just answer your own question. Rare colorful pokemon that all they're for. No stat boost or anything.

Ok, I've got eight questions about the Veilstone Game Corner, so here goes :

    1. Does it make a difference in the amount of bonus rounds whether you get a green-eared Clefairy, a Ditto-eyed Clefairy, or a normal Clefairy?

    2. Does it make a difference what type of pokeball Clefairy pops out of?

    3. When going into the bonus rounds, does it make a difference whether you get three sevens or three Galactic Symbols?

    4. Can you still get through all ten bonus rounds if the moon glows red frequently?

    5. What does it mean if the moon glows white?

    6. What does it mean when two Pikachus appear after a bonus round?

    7. Does it matter at what speed you go through the bonus rounds?

And finally... 8. Can you still get through all ten bonus rounds if you hit the wrong button once or twice?

Sorry if that was too much of an overload.

Sorry if that was too much of an overload.

    1. If it is Ditto, bonus round will be shorter. If it is normal, bonus round will be normal. If it is Shiny, bonus round will be longer.

    2. Makes a symbol more likley to appear more:

    Ultra Ball - Pikachu
    Great Ball - Replay Symbol
    Safari Ball - Moon Stone
    Premier Ball - Random

    3. Since both rewards you with 100 coins, then no, however you cannot mix and match them (you must either get three 7s or three Galactic symbols)

    4. Yes, but there is a higher chance the bonus round will end when it begins to glow red.

    5. Clefairy is more likely to stay for another bonus round.

    6. Your bonus counter refills back to 15.

    7. There is no indication of a time limit, so no, but you might want to do it fast just incase the moon glows red.

    8. Nothing I can find saying if you can or can't, so to be safe then sorry, try not to hit the wrong button.

Thanks Pikachu315111, I've been wondering about that stuff for a long time now (ever since I got my Diamond and Pearl way back in April '07). Someone asked what getting a Ditto meant in the Pokemon.com Mailbag, but all that the staff said was that it was special.

Wonder why Brock is shown w/out a Pokemon in the New Opening while Ash runs with Pikachu & Dawn with Piplup. Wonder if this New Format will go away soon. *I got a question not about Pokemon but here it is anyways: How do make something in a Diff. Color? I can't make a good Blog because of that!
