Not much done today. Caught a few new Pokemon and made it to the third gym. Should be fighting him next time
I've made it through Victory Road, but I want to train up a bit before taking them on. One problem...they've taken away the Vs. Seeker. Who should I battle to ready for the league? Seriously, no way to rematch anyone? Apart from the few particular trainers you can battle once a day you can only rebattle the League... we haven't had this situation since Generation I. Awful, the Vs. Seeker is essential, unless you have a less effective alternative (i.e. Pokénav or Pokégear). Any suggestions as to where I should train?
Arrived at Nimbasa City today, so three badges.
Current Team:
Mizu (Dewott): Level 24
Mimi (Petilil): Level 18
Aquila (Rufflet): Level 21
Zatch (Emolga): Level 20
Cell (Solosis): Level 19
Timburr: Level 21.
Timburr is just temporary. It will eventually be replaced with Litwick.

b-but, that's what i called mine. Like, since November i had that named and i wrote it down and posted on the boards. O.o err did we just have the same idea?
Anyway, i'm on Route 10
Leonardo (Tirtouga) 34
Cell (Duosion) 39
ChocoMinty (Vanillish) 43
Ben Reilly (Galvantula) 42
Atlantixor (Golurk) 43
Iroh (Emboar) 45
Gym 7 and 8 were an epic breeze =v= i decided not to try and train my mons there and just let Iroh OHKO everything, and then ChocoMinty mostly OHKO stuff though she would 2HKO a few but still easy as heck.
And one thing i love the most of this game is how the plot is always running, other than the occasional stop to lvl grind there's always an event happening, gym, fighting team plasma or facing a rival, something always happens in pretty much every route or city. No parts where you think it just feels empty until you get to the next gym.

Wha...? But...how...? Did you trade for it?

I used to use different Pokémon in my party and replace them over time, but for the last few years I've waited until I've been able to get a complete team. I feel like I'm wasting the experience you get early on, especially in a game where so few trainers can be rematched.

Quite a few of your nicknames have been very common names, I've heard a lot of people using them.

Really...you've crossed Skyarrow Bridge, right?

Guess it didn't feel useless since i already knew nothing was going to happen lol.
Cell is actually a common nickname for it....it just fits so well.

Yep, traded for a Rufflet egg.
So!
Here i am, fighting the psychic elite four, the three before her were defeated with some hard work. My only means of attacking effectively were my Cell and Ben Reilly (shadow ball and signal beam effectively) but by the last mon they were already defeated, i was running out of evreything, only Atlantixor stood and defeated another one of her mons just barely. The final one came out, the black version psychic, i max revived Cell, Atlantixor fell and Cell shot a shadow ball, but not enough. Not close, it almost died in one shadow ball so i used Cell's final move to revive Ben Reilly, its signal beam did just a little more damage, i had one max revive left. The opponent already had a calm mind, any of my special attacks would likely not hit hard enough and would die before they could KO it due to the threat of a full restore, then it hit me. Iroh. My Emboar, a physical attack of fire could be it. Emboar was lvl 47, about 100 exp to the next level. I attacked, it was hardly about 38% what needed to be taken down and then..... it was left with about one percent and killed Iroh.
I raged.
I thorughly enjoyed my run on Pokemon White. Starting Black later this week. My team was Emboar, Krookodile, Ferrothorn, Galvantula and Jellicent. I love the re-vamped Exp. system, plus the Lucky Egg, made training faster. Because of that, the Gym Leaders were fairly easy for me, despite me having just Pignite/Emboar and Krokorok/Krookodile until Chargestone Cave. I figured the Elite Four would be a challenge, but they weren't. I have one complaint, about the lack of Triple/Rotation Battles.
Iroh thrust arm'd the Dragon/Dark after brave sacrifices from my team were made. Victory.
Gotta say, in a general level the game's end is kickass. I mean, just kickass and not for pokemon (well specially for pokemon) but just for video games in general. I genuinely enjoyed the story and the music that plays in the end is so damn cool.
These games are magnificent.
Currently on Twist Mountain, murdering everything that gets in my way
... this game gives you two Exp. Shares...
beat the Elite 4, now just going around and looking for all the rare Pokemon and whatever there is to do when you beat the game

Where'd you get the second one, Pikachu? |
Depends, which one do you have?
Probably going to challenge Elesa next time. I was able to catch a handful of new Pokemon, so my hour was productive today
