    Depends. If it's Z, then Dark/Ghost/Psychic. If not, I would assume Fighting, just because it seems as though it's physically built that way.

    For some reason, I'm wanting to say a duel Ghost/Fighting type... Cuz then it'd fit with my theory of the movie: The phantom of a former Pokemon league champion who's targeting highly skilled trainers for vengence or something and can obviously either shape shift or cast illusions on its victims.

    Before that came up, one of the game developers said again that it's basically for gen 5, and that it's 'Z'. Wait, maybe it's a Side evolution, Lucario evolves with friendship, this guy with hate/friendship, during hte night.

    Split evolution, yeah that's what i meant. And, look at the body and nose, it resembles a Lucario somewhat, and Lucario is already a OU so no reason for it to evolve further.

    1. It'd be an Uber, so everyone would complain when it's used against them.
    2. Auraholics are bad enough. We don't need people fangasming over this Pokemon as well.

    The only thing that resemble Lucario in my opinion is the body...t looks more like a variation of a Shiftry to me. And that looks more like a beak instead of a nose.

    Someone on Serebii suggested a Mightyena evo, which makes sense, since it was on randomly on a Movie 13 product.

    ...*giggles* Imagine fusion... That would explain Tangrowth and Mightyena being the movie... Could be a "fusion" of Mightyena and Tangrowth...

    Evolved mightyena? now that'd be interesting... though, it's "Z" it should be the evolution of a kinda important pokemon. Or a brand new one? maybe Legendary? or pseudo-legendary like Lucario?

    Fusion? If that were the case (Which I highly doubt it is) then it looks like a cross between a Shiftry and a Lombre or Ludicolo...

    Sorry I'm late everyone, I was over at my cousin's house for a birthday, hopefully nothing big... came... WHY DOES INTERESTING STUFF ALWAYS HAPPEN WHEN I'M AWAY FROM THE COMPUTER!

    Okay, so as we all can see, we have our first sight of a Generation V Pokemon:


    Who's That Pokemon?

    Hmm, time for some speculation:

    1. It doesn't look like a Legendary Pokemon we have seen before, so I'm going on a limb and say it's not a Legendary. However it doesn't look like a lower evolution Pokemon if this is a Pokemon that is part of a multiple stage evolution. So I'll say this Pokemon is either a non-evolution Pokemon or the last stage of a multi-stage evolution (similar to Lucario).
    2. Now to describe its looks. I can tell by the face it's fox-like. Its biggest feature is that stack of hair on top which looks to then tie into a ponytail near the end and the hair might cover the chest making it a mane. Another idea is that the "ponytail" at the end isn't part of the hair but is instead a bushy tail. It has a slick body with the lower arms, torso, upper legs, and feet a big bulked up. It looks to have claws
    3. And now it's time for us to compare it to other Pokemon! Now I'd be lieing to you if I didn't say this looks a bit like Lucario. Infact this kind of looks like a savage Lucario with large wild hair and claws. The face is almost similar and the body looks VERY similar to Lucario (infact you know Lucario's chest spike? I think I see this thing has one too!). Anyway if there is one wild guess I was to make, it'll be that this thing is a Fighting-type.


    An evolution of Lucario? Maybe a split evolution option for Riolu? Or something else?

    Currently there is a rumer going on that this might be "Z" though this isn't known. However it was said that this Pokemon "grasps the key" to the movie. Hm, take that what you would, though I'm just hoping it isn't like Spiky-Eared Pichu where her "most importent role" was her just freeing Ash & co. (plus Damos) from prison.


    Hey, you may call me useless, but I was the one that FREED everyone so there !

    And to those who are saying it's a "fusion", I don't think so. Sure, we can make jokes how it looks like Super Saiyan 3, but "fusion" is something which I don't think we'll see in Pokemon. I mean technically fusion has been around, according to the Pokedex Slowpoke is only suppose to evolve when a Shellder bites onto its tail or head. Also you do need a Remoriad to evolve Mantyke to a Mantine (though you keep the Remortaid of course). However an actual fusion I don't think well ever happen as you'll be losing a Pokemon in the process and I'm sure a ton of glitches will come from it.

    In two weeks this Pokemon's actual appearance will be shown on February 21, in addition with the appearance of "Z"! START THE COUNTDOWN!
