    The Apricorn PokeBalls should be keep as is, I loved that part of the original. The Orange Crew should stay in the anime, they weren't even that exciting or great.

    There really would be no reason to remake Ruby and Sapphire since the graphics are fine, but the pre-Advanced Generation games should have been remade for sure. Not to mention they aren't going to change Kanto to Hoenn. They said it was going to be just like FireRed and LeafGreen, (so basically nothing important removed) so Kanto is basically confirmed.

    I thought it was going to be revealed tomorrow but the earlier the better. I wonder how they'll use the touch screen. They'll probably use the touch screen to access the PokeGear. This is the greatest thing ever! I'm having like a total fangasm right now!

    Also, might I add that this will GREATLY help with completing the Pokedex (in D/P/Pt). No more importing captures from Colosseum!

    I still think those are fake, as leaks of game screenshots only appear a bit before or after the announcement of the new game, but not 3 months before.

    Maybe, but hopefully after Serebii.net provides more coverage in the near future, then it can be better determined unless if there were also an official site that can be used.

    This is so exciting! Pokémon Crystal was the first game I EVER bought, so this is really emotional. Not to mention Johto was one of my favorite regions,and the first I really ever explored!!!! I can't wait to see the Legendary Dogs and I hope I can explore both Johto and Kanto!!!! Yay!!!

    No, those are fakes, very very fakes and have nothing to do with anything related to this announcement.

    We should likely get more info in a few hours, once it's announced on Pokemon Sunday, maybe even some screenshots =D

    Okay, so Serebii posted up these new images. 3 of the screenshots are Gold (Male Playable Character) walking around New Bark Town and the other 3 are the Johto Starters we all love in thier new stock art: Chikorita, Cyndaquil, and Totodile! So here they are:

    Huh? Wait, in the New Bark Town screenshots, if that your starter... FOLLOWING YOU! Well other then that, we also see Silver (The Rival) watching through the window, just waiting to steal the Pokemon which will be the type that has an adventage over yours (For example, in these screenshots Gold chose Chikorita, so Silver will "choose" Cyndaquil once you move onto the next town and he can make his move).

    First off, let me say those graphics are AWESOME! Maybe even an improvement from D/P/Pt.

    Second, I love how the starter will follow you. Homage to Pokemon YELLOW anyone?

    Third, great art for the starters. I am glad that all of the Johto Pokemon will finally be getting new art, that old pale art was getting old.

    Well, Crystal was different from Gold and Silver, so these will probably be drastically different for you.

    I wonder if only your starter follows you around, or if you can change it up with any Pokemon in you party, even if you can't, I always loved the feature of your starter following you around. And lol, at first, I thought Silver was a mailbox

    I simply can't wait for these games to come out! And the screenshots are bringing back old memories that I thought I'd forgotten. Is it just me, or does it look like Elm's lab now has an upstairs? Wonder what thats for, but anyways its about time that the gen. II stock art got updated. Oh, and I love the titles for them, but I think it would sound better if it were GoldHeart and SilverSoul... But thats just me.
