    I don't think the anime will end anytime soon, but they should at least have a new protagonist. Ash has been around since 1997, so let another male protagonist take the reins for the 6th gen. The others have been reduced to one shot chars, except Brendan who was shown twice.


    Jimmy/Kenta: Raikou ep


    Brendan: 6th movie opening with Shiftry and Aggron, 9th movie opening battling Rebecca's Tyranitar with his Swampert


    Lucas: 11th movie, battling someone's Rhyperior with his Magmortar


    Ethan: 13th movie I've heard, or at least seen anime char art


    B/W male protagonist: Hasn't been seen, but probably in 14th movie

    Anyway, for Ash and Shooti's battle: Shooti has Hataboo and Puruiru has Cursed Body as its ability.

    I assume that when you say that Paul and Richie had a baby, that the baby you're referring to is Shooti?

    1. Why is Iris always putting Ash down? Sure Misty did that, but she only did it to tone down his "Starting Trainer" ego. And soon enough, she came to respect his way of doing things (some of them anyway). Also, by now, Ash has become quite the seasoned trainer. There's no way he deserves Iris' criticism. 2. I know fans have speculated Ash having a "thing" for Misty, May and Dawn. What are the odds of people getting any ideas about Ash and Iris?

    Iris puts Ash down? From the screenshots I've seen Iris isn't exactly competent either. However, despite all the regions Ash has gone to and any character developments that the writers let Ash keep, Ash still does dumb things and often needs to be called on them for him to learn the lesson of the day (and I mean just for that day/episode, as soon as next episode he could repeat the dumb thing he did).


    And please, as soon as Iris was seen she was paired with Ash, let's see if we can find it *takes a look through Bulbapedia* ah, NegaiShipping. It has a few entries, but as always there are many different ways to look at things (though from what I can tell Iris seems at least interested in Ash, maybe not romantically but more as "who and what is this guy?").
