Can't wait to see it, the Electivire vs. Infernape battle looks INTENSE!

Though exactly how did Paul react to the loss? Has he done a Heel Face Turn or does he at least see Ash as an equal?

From the pictures, he looked like he actually SMILED. And then laterwards when Ash goes to say bye, he looks like he's all pissed off again.

Serebii pictures are very misleading. Just look up DP 188 on youtube and you'll find the actual episode.

Does anyone know what Reggie said to Pauls pokemon? At first they were said, and then they got all exited. And why the heck did Ash use an electric attack against Electrive?

He assumed that after that Paul would get careless enough for an Iron Tail to work. And that didn't work. Reggie probably said "Paul lost, but it's 'kay he didn't get mad or anything"

you know, the aftermath of the rivalry battle didn't appeal to me as the one against Gary. While Ash and Gary settled affairs, Paul on the other hand just plain shrugged off and said that he would move on, despite the fact that the rivalry had ended.

Anyway, for this battle against Takuto, judging from the preview, only Darkrai was seen and five of Ash's (Pikachu, Gible, Torkoal, Sceptile (about time to see him again), and Heracross). This leaves out Ash's sixth pokemon (as of now unknown). The last is anyone's guess. We could see the fall of Darkrai and some more of Takuto's or it is just Darkrai (in other words Darkrai completely obliterated Ash's team or Ash managed to defeat Darkrai, but lost all his team).

You just KNOW the english dub will ruin this episode by using cheap instrumental music instead of some real music...

O: well... the best we can hope is him getting Gary-like cameos in the latter part of Isshu i suppose... TT___TT alas, if Paul has to go, i'm glad it's with such a logical thing

Oh well, though I wouldn't think the Kanto Battle Frontier would take a whole arc so maybe we might see Paul in the Isshu region later on (though probably not there to compete in the Isshu League, probably a one-shot tournament or something like that).

Though personally I would rather have Paul challenge the Generation IV Battle Frontier just so that as Ash defeated Brandon which Paul wasn't able to do, Paul would defeat Palmer which Ash wasn't able to do to balance things out. Though I guess it makes more sense for Paul to challenge the Kanto Battle Frontier being he has unfinished business with Brandon.

Yeah, since Paul is going to challenge the Kanto Battle Frontier, that means he will get to challenge Brandon to a rematch!

Yes, Paul could battle Brandon and then do what Ash is doing and go to Isshu.

Does anyone know why Ash used volt tackle against Electrive? And what Reggie said afterwards? His pokemon looked pleased.

As for the final pokemon, Ash should use Inferape since it had a lot of development

After its battle with Electivire I think Ash is going to let it rest.

Or try to be gender savvy by having the pokemon with the most character development ever fight Darkai assuming it's got plot armor, sadly that's not the case.

Has Ash ever "rested" a pokemon during the League? Doesnt he just keep using them?

Snorlax is a good powerhouse cause it does know other moves like Ice punch but Rest is a problem. Or Noctowl with its new moves!

But its a disappointing the writers are having Paul battle Brandon. Paul should Ash into Isshu.
