Bad news.....Paul's going to challenge the Kanto Battle Frontier next.

Well, so much for him remaining Ash's main rival in Isshu, but his decision makes sense, after the whole deal with Reggie and Brandon. Besides, you never know, it could be for the better; you don't want to milk too much out of a great character like Paul, and I think Ash and Paul's Sinnoh League battle ended the main rivalry on a good note. Still, hopefully we'll at least see Paul appear several times in Isshu.

    ***SPOILER***

Ash just barely wins any of his battles. Pikachu takes on Metagross? Charizard takes on Artiunco. Buizel with Lucario. He JUST scraps by the battle which is SO .....

He needs a few more reigions or battles to get him to actually think about how he battles

Well it looks like Sceptile has learned either Magical Leaf or Leaf Storm based on the Pokemon Sunday preview. The preview is only in low quality right now so I can't tell for sure.

Wow. To think we've actually reached the end of Diamond and Pearl. It's actually sort of sad....

Hm, so did Ash take down Darkrai *looks it up on Serebii*...

WHA?! TAKUTO ALSO HAS A LATIOS! Well glad to hear that Ash did manage to take down Darkrai, but now I wonder how many Legendary Pokemon Takuto actually has. If only Pikachu was able to stay up until at least one more battle, but hey Ash taking down two Legendaries in a row isn't too shabby.

Well, anyway, we already say Ash's new clothes, except now we're seeing them in color. Meh, they look okay, but is it just me or do Ash's eyes look a bit different? They seem a bit larger.

It was highly unlikely from the start that Ash would get past Takuto, but he did defeat Darkrai, and another legendary, Latios, on top of that, so I'm happy. Looks like Ash's sixth Pokemon was Swellow.

Well Ash may have lost, but at least we have found the third to dispatch a legendary: Sceptile! As for the Takuto-Ash rivalry, I have a feeling that; "they'll meet again, don't know where, don't know when, but I know they'll meet again, some sunny day" - from Dr. Strangelove.

Takuto must be pretty strong to capture two Legendary Pokemon. Maybe more.

Saw the episode pictures on Filb; the battle looked pretty intense. Darkrai took advantage of its Bad Dreams ability by using Dark Void on Sceptile, but "somehow" it was able to break free seconds later (to the surprise of Takuto) and score a winning blow with Leaf Blade. Interesting how despite the fact that Darkrai has blown its way through the gyms and league with ease, it managed to get hit by Gible's Rock Smash even though it was coming straight at it.

Anyway, Takuto beat some random guy's Magmortor in the final (with Darkrai) for the victory. I thought that Paul might want to stay around to watch Ash and Takuto's battle, and looks like that was true; and he looked pretty disgusted that the rival who finally beat him went and lost his next battle.

The only Legendary Pokemon I can see someone using:

Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, Mew, Raikou, Entei, Suicune, Lugia, Regice, Regirock, Registeel, Latios, Latias, Deoxys, Darkrai, Cresselia, Phione, Heatran, Regigigas, Shaymin.

All the others there seems to be either only one of or are just too powerful for one person to tame.

Paul left after the last episode. He didn't look disgusted to me, especially since he finds respects Ash. More so that he wasn't surprised that Takuto won.

I was kind of scared about how this battle would be handled and even though it is still kind of cheap for Legendaries to be the reason Ash loses, I'm just glad they at least showed more then one of Takuto's pokemon. makes it a little better.

What has me irked more is that Takuto swept the "runner-up" with Darkrai. Ash was able to knock out two of Takuto's Pokemon, both Legendaries, yet he's getting a semi-finalist place while the "runner-up" couldn't even defeat one.

It looked like Takuto said something to Ash after the battle, what did he say? He was smiling so I would think it would be thanking Ash for a good match, though I'm hoping there was maybe something extra like Takuto wanting to battle Ash again someday as Takuto sounds like an interesting trainer (plus I want to see what other Pokemon he had...).

I sorta hope not. Just show Takuto also winning and making everyone irl realize they did similar things before lol.

Watching the episode i notice two things, one, Pikachu Volt Tackled through Luster Purge and Iron Tailed Latios when Ash did the pose in my sig, AWESOME.
And two, Brock praised Ash and Dawn on their dreams a little or something and then i am absolutely sure he asked himself "who am i" D:

How do we even know that guy's got 6 Pokemon? They just assumed he did, so they should've had him send the rest of his Pokemon if he had them. And with Darkrai spamming Dark Void like that, now you know why it's banned in actual tournaments

If I had to guess, I'd say he does have six Pokemon, and they're all legendaries, but he's never had to use all six because he and his Pokemon are so strong that he always manages to beat his opponents using only one (or in Ash's case, two) Pokemon. All we've seen so far are his Darkrai and Latios. Here's what I think his full team is, although he'll probably never need to use all six of his Pokemon:

    1. Darkrai (already confirmed)

    2. Latios (already confirmed)

    3. Lugia

    4. Rayquaza

    5. Mewtwo (!)

    6. Arceus (!)
