    Pokemon:
    Cacnea
    Type: Grass
    Ability:
    Sand Veil
= (In Battle: Evasion incrases by 25% in a Sandstorm and doesn't get hurt in a Sandstorm)
= (Outside of Battle: If this Pokemon is leading your party and are in an area with a sandstorm, the wild Pokemon encounter rate is decreased by 50%)
    Base Stats:
    =HP: 50
    =Attack: 85
    =Defense: 50
    =Special Attack: 85
    =Special Defense: 40
    =Speed: 35
    =Total: 335
Weakness (2x): Flying, Poison, Bug, Fire, & Ice
    Resistance (.5x): Ground, Water, Grass,
    & Electric
    Moveset Analysis (Leveling Up):

Ah Poison- and Bug-types, the Pokemon who attacks are super-effective against the other one. There is the Poison-type Poison Sting to handle Bug-types while there is the Bug-type Pin Missile for those Poison-types. Other moves are Dark-type Faint Attack, Sucker Punch, & Payback and Grass-types Absorb & Needle Arm (STAB). Tactical we have Cotton Spore, Sandstorm (gotta activate that Ability), Spikes, Leech Seed, and Destiny Bond.
    Moveset Analysis (TM/HM):
In addition to having Poison-type Poison Jab now squashing bugs, we also have Fighting-type Focus Punch, Brick Break, & Drain Punch taking breaking apart Ice-types. We also have Dark-type Dark Pulse and Grass-type Bullet Seed, Giga Drain, SolarBeam (has Sunny Day for combo), Energy Ball, & Grass Knot (STAB). Nothing special in tactical sense.
    Moveset Analysis (Breeding):
Poison-type Acid keeps on swatting bugs and Fighting-type Counter, DynamicPunch, and Low Kick cracks Ice-types. We also got Normal-type SmellingSalt and Grass-type Magical Leaf & Seed Bomb (STAB). Tactical we get Nasty Plot, GrassWhistle, and Teeter Dance.
    Moveset Analysis (Tutoring):
Bug-type Fury Cutter strikes back at the Poison-types who have been bombarding them previously. Things look worse as Ground-type Mud-Slap also beat down on Poison-types and Fire-types. Also the Electric-type ThunderPunch (no Ice Punch or Fire Punch though) deals with the Flying-types. Other then that we only really have tactical moves Magic Coat, Spite, Synthesis, and Worry Seed.

    Pokemon:
    Carnivine
    Type: Grass
    Ability:
Levitate (Gives immunity to Ground-types and is unaffected by Arena Trap)
    Base Stats:
    =HP: 74
    =Attack: 100
    =Defense: 72
    =Special Attack: 90
    =Special Defense: 72
    =Speed: 46
    =Total: 454
Weakness (2x): Flying, Poison, Bug, Fire, & Ice
    Resistance (.5x): Ground, Water, Grass,
    & Electric
    Moveset Analysis (Leveling Up):

Nothing for weaknesses so we'll continue on as usual. Got Dark-type Bite, Faint Attack, & Crunch; Normal-type Spit Up (yes, it has Stockpile and Swallow) Bind, & Wring Out; and Grass-type Vine Whip & Power Whip. Tactical we Ingrain and Sweet Scent.
    Moveset Analysis (TM/HM):
Poison-type Sludge Bomb takes care of those Bug-type pets. If not we also got Normal-type Hyper Beam & Giga Impact; Dark-type Thief, Fling, & Payback; and Grass-type Bullet Seed, Giga Drain, SolarBeam (do I even need to say it has Sunny Day to combo?), Energy Ball, & Grass Knot (STAB). Tactical is all the same as others.
    Moveset Analysis (Breeding):
Has Normal-type Slam and Grass-type Magical Leaf & Razor Leaf (STAB). There is a whole bunch of tactical here like Leech Seed, Sleep Powder, Stun Spore, Synthesis, & Worry Seed to name some... or all.
    Moveset Analysis (Breeding):
Bug-type Bug Bite & Fury Cutter appear to take revenge on Poison-types but Ground-type Mud-Slap comes up to fight Poison- and Fire-types. We got Dark-type Knock Off and Grass-type Seed Bomb (STAB) to finish things off on attacks. For tactical, the only interesting thing left is Gastro Acid.

Each have attacks that is Super Effective against the other, so I'm going to go with Speed once more and say...

    Pokemon: Tyranitar
    Type: Rock/Dark
    Ability:
Sand Stream (Causes a Sandstorm when sent into battle)
    Base Stats:
    =HP: 100
    =Attack: 134
    =Defense: 110
    =Special Attack: 95
    =Special Defense: 100
    =Speed: 61
    =Total: 600
    Weakness (4x): Fighting
Weakness (2x): Ground, Bug, Steel, Water,
    & Grass
Resistance (.5x): Normal, Flying, Poison, Ghost, Fire,
    & Dark
    Immunity (0x): Psychic
    Moveset Analysis (Leveling Up):

ELEMENTAL FANGS! And a good thing to as we got some weaknesses that need handeling. Fire-type Fire Fang handles Bug-, Steel-, and Grass-types; Ice-type Ice Fang handles Ground- and Grass-types; and Electric-type Thunder Fang for Water-types. Additionally we have Ground-type Earthquake for those Steel-types and Rock-type Rock Slide & Stone Edge (STAB) for Bug-types. Other attacking moves are Normal-type Hyper Beam & Thrash and Dark-type Bite, Dark Pusle, Payback, & Crunch (STAB). Tactical we have Scary Facem Leer, Screech, and Sandstorm (just incase your opponent changes the weather and you want the sandstorm back)
    Moveset Analysis (TM/HM):
Got Flying-type Aerial Ace for those Fighting-, Bug-, and Grass-types; Ice-type Ice Beam, Blizzard, and Avalanche for Ground- and Grass-types; Water-type Water Pulse & Surf for Ground-types; Fire-type Flamethrower & Fire Blast for Bug-, Steel-, and Grass-types; Rock-type Rock Tomb (STAB) for Bug-types; Fighting-type Focus Punch, Brick Break, & Focus Blast for Steel-types; Ground-type Dig for Steel-type; and Electric-type Thunderbolt, Thunder (yay, got Rain Dance), and Shock Wave for Water-types. Other attacks are Dragon-type Dragon Claw & Dragon Pulse; Steel-type Iron Tail; Normal-type Giga Impact, Strength, & Rock Climb; Dark-type Fling (STAB); and Ghost-type Shadow Claw. Out of the ordinary tactical moves there are Torment, Rock Polish, and Stealth Rock.
    Moveset Analysis (Breeding):
Rock-type AncientPower (STAB) once again crushes Bug-types. The other moves are Dark-type Assurance & Pursuit (STAB); Dragon-type Outrage; Steel-type Iron Head; and Normal-type Stomp. For tactical there is Curse, Dragon Dance, Focus Energy, and Iron Defense.
    Moveset Analysis (Tutoring):
ELEMENTAL PUNCHES! That's right, it learns both the elemental sets! Fire-type Fire Punch handles Bug-, Steel-, and Grass-types; Ice-type Ice Punch handles Ground- and Grass-types; and Electric-type ThunderPunch for Water-types. Other moves are Water-type Aqua Tail for Ground-types; Ground-type Earth Power for Steel-types; Bug-type Fury Cutter for Grass-types; and Fighting-type Low Kick & Superpower for Steel-types. Tactically we have Block and Spite.
    Moveset Analysis (Special):
Purift your Shadow Tyranitar from Pokemon Colosseum and it'll have the moves Dark-type Crunch, Electric-type Thunder, Rock-type Rock Slide, and Ice-type Blizzard... *sigh* at least two of the moves there are HM...

    Pokemon: Mamoswine
    Type: Ice/Ground
    Ability:

= Oblivious (prevents becoming attracted to the other Pokemon)
    = Snow Cloak
+ (Evasion incrases by 20% in a hailstorm and doesn't get hurt in a hailstorm)
+ (If this Pokemon is leading your party and are in an area with a hailstorm, the wild Pokemon encounter rate is decreased by 50%)
    Base Stats:
    =HP: 110
    =Attack: 130
    =Defense: 80
    =Special Attack: 70
    =Special Defense: 60
    =Speed: 80
    =Total: 530
Weakness (2x): Fighting, Fire, Steel, Water, & Grass
    Resistance (.5x): Poison
    Immunity (0x): Electric
    Moveset Analysis (Leveling Up):

For weaknesses we have Rock-type AncientPower for Fire-types; Flying-type Peck for Fighting- and Grass-types; Ice-type Powder Snow, Ice Fang, & Blizzard (there is also Hail to combo) (STAB) for Grass-types; and Ground-type Mud Bomb & Earthquake (STAB) for Fire- and Steel-types. As for other attacks there is Normal-type Take Down & Double Hit. And then for tactical we have Odor Sleuth, Endure, Mist, and Scary Face.
    Moveset Analysis (TM/HM):
Ice-type Ice Beam & Avalanche (STAB); Ground-type Dig (STAB) for Fire- and Steel-types; Rock-type Rock Tomb, Stone Edge, & Rock Slide for Fire-types; and Fighting-type Rock Smash for Steel-types. We also got Normal-type Hyper Beam, Giga Impact, Strength, & Rock Climb. Tactical here is Light Screen, Reflect, and Stealth Rock.
    Moveset Analysis (Breeding):
Ice-type Icicle Spear for Grass-types and Ground-type Mud Shot for Fire- and Steel-types (STAB). We also have Dark-type Bite and Normal-type Body Slam, Double-Edge, and Take Down. Now here we have an interesting move called Fissure which is a One Hit Knock Out (OHKO) if it hits (it has an 30% accuracy) a lower leveled Pokemon. Now moving on to tactical, that's pretty much Curse.
    Moveset Analysis (Tutoring):
Ground-type Earth Power (STAB) for them Fire- and Steel-types; Ice-type Icy Wind (STAB) for Grass-types; and Fighting-type Superpower for Steel-types. Other attacks is Steel-type Iron Head. Tactical we have Block Endeavor, and though no on its own it can't be a FEAR Pokemon, with help from its pre-evolution it can be (though it'll be at level 34 or higher by then).

Though Mamoswine has higher HP and Speed, Tyranitar has high defence and attack (including the special version too). Mamoswine could win by Fissure or Superpower, though in a general battle I think the winner will be...

But, Mamoswine is faster, and with good enough ATK to kill Tyranitar in a hit or two with it's Super Effective STAB Earthquake.

    Pokemon: Swellow
    Type: Normal/Flying
    Ability:
Guts (Attack stat increased by 50% if inflicted with Burn, Paralysis, Poison, or Sleep. The Attack drop from Burn doesn't occur)
    Base Stats:
    =HP: 60
    =Attack: 85
    =Defense: 60
    =Special Attack: 50
    =Special Defense: 50
    =Speed: 125
    =Total: 430
Weakness (2x): Rock, Electric, & Ice
    Resistance (.5x): Bug
    & Grass
    Immunity (0x): Ground
    & Ghost
    Moveset Analysis (Leveling Up):
No weakness handlers so we'll go on to attacks. We have Normal-type Quick Attack (STAB) and Flying-type Pluck, Peck, Wing Attack, Aerial Ace, & Air Slash (STAB). Tactical we have Growl, Focus Energy, Double Team, Agility, and Endeavor. And with both Endeavor and Quick Attack, this makes Swellow a F.E.A.R. Pokemon!
    Moveset Analysis (TM/HM):
Steel-type Steel Wing is specailly made to take on those Rock- and Ice-types. Other attacks are Normal-type Hyper Beam, Frustration, Return, Facade, Secret Power, & Giga Impact (STAB); Flying-type Fly (STAB); Dark-type Thief; and Bug-type U-turn. Tactical there is Roost which is different from the usual ones.
    Moveset Analysis (Breeding):
We have Normal-type Rage (STAB); Flying-type Brave Bird & Sky Attack (STAB); and Dark-type Pursuit. Tactical there is Mirror Move, Refresh, Supersonic, and Whirlwind.
    Moveset Analysis (Tutoring):
Fire-type Heat Wave takes on Ice-types and Ground-type Mud-Slap takes on Electric- and Rock-types. We also have Flying-type Air Cutter (STAB); Normal-type Snore & Swift (STAB); Ghost-type Ominous Wind; and Dragon-type Twister. Only tactical move we have here is Tailwind.
    Moveset Analysis (Special):
Purify a Shadow Swellow in Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness and you'll get a Swellow knowing Flying-type Sky Attack, Normal-type Facade, Agility, and Baton Pass. Notice something? No? Two words: Baton Pass! Finally we get a special move that Swellow wouldn't be able to learn naturally! And having Agility, it can use Baton Pass once you transfer it over!

    Pokemon: Staravia
    Type: Normal/Flying
    Ability:
    Intimidate
= (In Battle: Lowers the opponent's Attack by half whenever sent into battle)
= (Outside Battle: If leading party, decreases the chance of encountering lower-level wild Pokemon by 50%)
    Base Stats:
    =HP: 85
    =Attack: 120
    =Defense: 70
    =Special Attack: 50
    =Special Defense: 50
    =Speed: 100
    =Total: 475
Weakness (2x): Rock, Electric, & Ice
    Resistance (.5x): Bug
    & Grass
    Immunity (0x): Ground
    & Ghost
    Moveset Analysis (Leveling Up):
Fighting-type Close Combat beats down those Rock- and Ice-type weaknesses. In other attacks we have Normal-type Tackle, Quick Attack, & Take Down (STAB) and Flying-type Wing Attack, Aerial Ace, & Brave Bird (STAB). Tactical we have Growl, Double Team, Whirlwind, Agility, and Endeavor. And once again, Endeavor + Quick Attack makes Staraptor a F.E.A.R. Pokemon.
    Moveset Analysis (TM/HM):
Steel-type Steel Wing is specailly made to take on those Rock- and Ice-types. Other attacks are Normal-type Hyper Beam, Frustration, Return, Facade, Secret Power, & Giga Impact (STAB); Flying-type Fly & Pluck (STAB); Dark-type Thief; and Bug-type U-turn. Tactical there is Roost which is different from the usual ones... does anyone else get a sense of deja vu?
    Moveset Analysis (Breeding):
We have Normal-type Double-Edge and Fury Attack (STAB); Ghost-type Astonish; and Dark-type Pursuit. Tactical there is FeatherDance, Foresight, and Sand-Attack.
    Moveset Analysis (Tutoring):
Fire-type Heat Wave takes on Ice-types and Ground-type Mud-Slap takes on Electric- and Rock-types. We also have Flying-type Air Cutter (STAB); Normal-type Snore & Swift (STAB); Ghost-type Ominous Wind; and Dragon-type Twister. Only tactical move we have here is Tailwind... does anyone else get a sense of deja vu?

Now here is the thing to consider, while Staraptor is the "stronger version", Swellow is more faster meaning Swellow is going to hit first. Though with a higher HP, Attack, and Defence, even if Swellow is faster Staraptor might be able to handle a strong hit while Swellow is more likely not to so...

    MY CHOICE:
    STARA
    PTOR

    Swellow:
    0 | Staraptor: 3

    Pokemon: Cyndaquil
    Type: Fire
Ability: Blaze (Raises Fire-type moves by 150% if HP is below 1/3)
    Base Stats:
    =HP: 39
    =Attack: 53
    =Defense: 43
    =Special Attack: 60
    =Special Defense: 50
    =Speed: 65
    =Total: 309
Weakness (2x): Ground, Rock, & Water
Resistance (.5x): Bug, Steel, Fire, Grass,
    & Ice
    Moveset Analysis (Level Up):
No moves to counter weaknesses so we'll go onto the other moves. There is Normal-type Tackle, Quick Attack, Swift, & Double Edge; Rock-type Rollout (and we have Defense Curl!); and Fire-type Ember, Flame Wheel, Lava Plume, Flamethrower, & Eruption (STAB). Tactical wise we have Leer and Smokescreen in addition with the previous mentioned Defense Curl.
    Moveset Analysis (TM/HM):
Ground-type Dig shakes up that Rock-type weakness but that's it for now. What's left that isn't usual is Flying-type Aerial Ace and Fire-type Fire Blast & Overheat (STAB). Tactical there is Will-O-Wisp and then the usual.
    Moveset Analysis (Breeding):
Fighting-type Double Kick & Reversal further beats down on Rock-types. Other moves are Normal-type Covet, Crush Claw, Fury Swipes, & Thrash; Psychic-type Extrasensory; and Fie-types Flare Blitz (STAB). Tactical we have Foresight and Howl.
    Moveset Analysis (Tutoring):
Um... we have Ground-type Mud-Slap for Rock-types once more... Normal-type Headbutt & Snore are the only other moves that it can't learn from above... and that's it.
    Moveset Analysis (Events):
After battling your way up to level 100 in the Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness in one streak, you'll get this Cyndaquil who will know Normal-type Tackle, Fighting-type Reversal, Fire-type Blast Burn (STAB), & Leer. That's right, Blast Burn, the Fire-type Hyper Beam normally up for tutoring for the final Fire Starter Evos. But to get it you still need to defeat 100 Trainers in one streak and no PC healing...

    Pokemon: Torchic
    Type: Fire
    Ability:
Blaze (Raises Fire-type moves by 150% if HP is below 1/3)
    Base Stats:
    =HP: 45
    =Attack: 60
    =Defense: 40
    =Special Attack: 70
    =Special Defense: 50
    =Speed: 45
    =Total: 310
Weakness (2x): Ground, Rock, & Water
Resistance (.5x): Bug, Steel, Fire, Grass,
    & Ice
    Moveset Analysis (Level Up):

Nothing for those dark weaknesses just yet so we'll go on. We have Flying-type Peck; Normal-type Scratch, Quick Attack, and Slash; & Fire-type Ember, Fire Spin, & Flamethrower. Tactical we have Growl, Focus Energy, Sand-Attack, and Mirror Move.
    Moveset Analysis (TM/HM):
Ground-type Dig and Fighting-type Rock Smash take on Rock-type as well. We also have Rock-type Rock Tomb & Rock Slide; Flying-type Aerial Ace; Ghost-type Shadow Claw; Normal-type Strength; and Fire-type Fire Blast & Overheat. Nothing special in tactical except for the typcial Will-O-Wisp.
    Moveset Analysis (Breeding):
Fighting-type Counter & Reversal keep on pummeling Rock-types. Also got Normal-type Crush Claw, Feint, Last Resort, & SmellingSalt and Dark-type Night Slash. Tactical there is Agility, Baton Pass, Endure, and Swagger.
    Moveset Analysis (Tutoring):
Ground-type Mud-Slap hurts Rock-types as mentioned above. Flying-type Bounce; Normal-type Headbutt, Snore, & Swift; and Fire-type Heat Wave are the only other moves. As for tactical, there is Helping Hand.

Once again, weak Pokemon usually have the faster winning meaning Cyndaquil takes the cake here as long as it does a Dig.

    MY CHOICE:
    CYNDAQUIL
