Exactly. To add to the illogicality of taking their Pokémon, I THINK - and now I could be wrong about this, so please forgive me if I seem rather n00bish here, but I THINK that they live in a world where travelling with Pokémon is a generally known & accepted practise.
I'm sure they're not the first trainers from Pokémon-Japan to go to Pokémon-America. Not to mention the existence of TV and what-not.
Also, I'm sure we're to just assume they live in a monolingual world?
I wonder if Team Rocket is going to get better disguices like Butch and Cassidy had, maybe that comes from the promotion.

And now thinking about it, Team Rocket HQ could have made it so that they didn't go alone without any of their Pokemon as they count Meowth as one of their Pokemon. So that's one way to also answer one question about sending them "alone" without their Pokemon.
Wait, I just realized this, Team Rocket are the only main characters to have ever caught Psychic-type Pokemon.

They did that with everyonethis season, it looks like. If you look, you'll see that Jessie's eyes are now clearly blue and James's eyes are now clearly green. Unlike Ash, Jessie, and James, though, everyone else looks normal because we've never seen them before (except for Oak and Delia, but I think they always looked like that, right?) it's just that Ash's change is going to take a while to get used to because it makes him look so...childish.

For what? You mean to make sure everyone speaks the same language, or to prevent people knowing about foreign Pokémon? Either way doesn't make sense, if/when they get to Black City and/or White Forest there'll be loads of Pokémon not native to Isshu.
I really doubt that for the X years Ash is travelling Isshu that they won't show any non-Isshu Pokémon except Pikachu, Meowth, any Ash might decide to call out, and those that Dawn brings with her in her inevitable cameo episodes.
Anyone else really hoping that James will catch a Meguroko? It'd be different, but I think it'd suit him...
Yeah, I think James very well might catch a Meguroko.
I saw the episodes and I must say I was impressed to say the least. At first I thought the Rocket trio might've went through a Rocket boot camp between the shift to the new season to straighten up their act, but I guess not. Mijumaru's cute, I'm really looking forward to Ash getting it. And I also can't wait for Dento and his brothers to appear to see what they'll be like.

the new ending is addictive....
I am calling it now, they are planning on Best Wishes! being the last series for Ash and Team Rocket. This series the female travel compannion is not a cordinator, she is mostly going to aid Ash in his journey like Misty, they are devoting more time to Ash's journey because they plan on ending it by eleminating the cordinator plot,Team Rocket is more of a threat, Giovanni is plotting something, all this points to them planning on ending this story finally.
That being said, they could change their minds at anytime.
