Oh that's right, Glaile needs to be a female. But we don't really know what gender it is. Anyway, for the upcoming episode, it will be no suprise that Meowth will go back to TR at the end (figures). I doubt we will ever see Meowzie again....

Umm... What? You're getting your Pokemon mixed up. Glalie is the final evolution of a Snorunt if a Dawn Stone wasn't used. Snorunt evolves if it's female and is given a Dawn Stone; Glalie can't evolve further, nor can Froslass.

    DP179-
    Summary-summary:
Ash is driven into a corner by the attacks of the most powerful Gym Leader, Volkner. Even Infernape, the last one sent out, collapses... But with a roar, Infernape stands up again. Could this be Blaze?

    Main Summary:
The long-awaited day of the rematch against Volkner, the Gym Leader of the Sunyshore Gym, has finally come! Volkner, who has regained his motivation, is so strong that he is said to be the strongest Gym Leader of the Sinnoh region. After intense training, Ash challenges him with Pikachu, Infernape and Torterra!

The first one he sends out is Torterra. Having a big type advantage against Volkner's Electivire, Torterra eagerly launches the first attack.

But as Torterra uses Rock Climb to finish it, Electivires fist glows brightly. Torterra, who is charging forward, is hit by Ice Punch! As a countermeasure against types it is weak against, Volkner has taught it an Ice type move. Ash is getting completely trounced by Volkner's tactics. How will this fierce Gym Battle turn out?

I'm rather excited about Luxray v. Pikachu, myself.

I'm wondering what Volkner's third will be as well. He could go the Wattson route and not use his signature Pokemon and use something other than Raichu, or just use Raichu. Who am I kidding; the writers love Pikachu v. Raichu too much to pass it up.

Well here's an interesting twist. Jasmine is going to appear in DP180 helping Kenny train....yeah I know WTF. Even stranger, Kenny says that if he defeats Ash in their battle then Dawn has to travel with him....wtf again.

The 13th movie kinda gives away if Dawn stays or not..... dumb thing of the writers to do...... although shipping isn't allowed, and I doubt there will be a shipping war again, since the users here have died down by 40%, its obvious to say its Penguinshipping & PearlShipping colliding, even though oblivious Ash won't be aware of what they are really battling for.

So basically, whether Ash wins, ties, or loses, Dawn's staying. I think if Ash loses, it would be better development between the 2, since Dawn would be staying, she will reject Kenny, even though he won.As for Jasmine appearing, I ABSOLutely hate that! People are saying that because Jasmine is from Johto, that Kenny is going to venture in Johto, with Dawn following after the Sinnoh League. Pfft.

I hope Ash asks Jasmine ifshe has heard of May, and how theJohto GF went. I'd look foward to that.

    Whut?! XD
Well, like BAC said, movie spoils that this attempt to break teh status quo will not work. Still it'll be very interesting to see Jasmine again.

Yay, Dawn leaving Ash's side before he ventures to the next region (Isshu) is as likely to happen as Meowth leaving Team Rocket in the upcoming episode, not going to happen.

Anyway nice to hear Jasmine is going to appear (probably threw her in to stop the fans from demanding her to appear as she did in the games). Don't see why people are saying Kenny is going to Johto, I mean he also has Kanto and Hoenn to go to next (I doubt he'll go to Isshu unless Dawn sticks with Ash to Isshu).

I doubt Jasmine would know May, both of them don't know the other knows Ash so even if they have competed against each other Jasmine would have considered it just another face in the competition (then again, knowing the anime, is Ash did ask Jasmine would probably know May as May had somehow helped Jasmine out). Eitherway sounds like an interesting episode.

Actually, the movie is no way shape or form confirms this. Dawn could just stick around with Ash to see the Sinnoh League and movie canon doesn't always equal anime canon. Just saying.

Ok, so Volkner is using Jolteon, Electivre, and Luxray in next week's battle. Thank God, we don't need Pikachu vs. Raichu again.

Well, i actually saw this week's episode.

Dear god did the last part become awesome XD

Meowth basically beats up Seviper and Infernape, and Yanmega, Togekiss and Staraptor, with no problem at all, he compares himself to Dialga and Palkia and lots of stuff since he has hte power of love to back him up.
Then the delcatty got hit by bullet seed and evolved, once Meowth realises that Purugly simply is different both inside and out to the Delcatty (wait, that's not the right mon... well, the purple cat) he fell in love with we get four metaphor shots, breaking heart, thunder destroying rock, building imploding and lastly a Meowth statue collapsing XD
And we got to see Seviper and Infernape fighting side by side, never thought i'd see that.

I don't think Glameow looks to similar to Delcatty..... Haha.

The damn writers and their Give & Take...... they give us plenty of evolutions & captures, they take em' away by releasing a few Pokemon. They give us a 4-Part Grand Festival but take Ash's final Sinnoh gym battle down to 3 on 3.....>_> I hate how them writers do that! They'd better not give us an extendedLeague Arc for once(more episodes then previous League Arcs) but ends up taking something else in compensation for it......

Perhaps, Infernape will take down 2 pokemon instead of just the last gym leader's pokemon, that would be awesome! Too bad, Ash won't use Gible, that would have given him an edge.

I got confused with the names, there's only so much i can do to sort out six cat puns for the right cats

Well, it's due to time thing, and, hey, what could an Extended League Arc possibly take? that's the climax of the region, then clean-up for the next one.

Dear God don't let that happen. That thing has done enough, and it's going to do more in the league. Give Pikachu and Torterra the wins for crying out loud; Pikachu has done nothing this saga and Torterra has only starred against Roark, battled Palmer and battled Bertha. Seriously, that fire monkey is almost as overrated as Charizard.

It's the dub. You don't need to pay attention to it [like me >.>]. And you wanted Dawn to lose, therefore making the venture to Sunyshore even longer? Okay then.
