    I scan from DP182 has surfaced and it shows Bayleef, Totodile, Snorlax, and Corphish. Also...(spoiler ahead).......either Ash or Dawn's Cyndaquil is evolving.

    It probably is Ash's; I mean, it's an Ash centric episode, focused on Ash's old Pokemon. Dawn's story is over and done with, so the writers would be foolish to evolve her Cyndaquil.

    I really hope he ends up getting all middle stages of the Johto starters [I will not give up hope that Totodile will evolve >.>] since it'd be a slap in the face to evolve two of the three [unless they make Totodile a powerhouse, of course].

    AWESOME! And darn Piplup, if it wasn't there they could have probably put one of Ash's other Pokemon there and we would have a better idea who's Cyndaquil is evolving (or the most narrow it down to either Dawn's Cyndaquil)!


    Anyway, being Bayleef and Totodile is there, I'm also going to say Ash probably got Cyndaquil too and it's probably Ash's Cyndaquil who will be evolving. Though I kind of wished it was Totodile instead as Ash still needs a fully evolved Water Starter... or just an evolved Water Starter. Okay, yay, Squirtle and Totodile are Ash's only Water Starters, but still.


    Hm, I wonder if Ash would be getting of his older Pokemon out for... for... why is Ash getting his older Pokemon out? Eitherway it would be nice for Staraptor, Buizel, Torterra, Infernape, and Gible get to know the other Pokemon that belong to the trainer as pretty soon Ash will be dumping them there when he goes to Isshu.

    1. Ash wants to ensure he meets Paul in the finals.
    2. Paul will [most likely] be using reserves.
    3. He wants Paul to see he's not weak.
    4. Dawn [most likely] won't go back to Pallet Town, so the writers probably want to give his reserves the screen time they would get there, here.
    5. Why not?

    Gotta wonder why Corphish is there, guess a type was bound to repeat, but... bah, anyway doesn't matter. I'm bettin' it's Ash for no reason other than it'd be awesome as hell! 8D


    Also, i ran the math:
    For Ash's Cyndaquil to evolve, should it really be Ash's, it took:


    505 episodes
    10 years, 2 months and 3 weeks.

    dawn may still get some evo's (PIPLUPPIPLUPPIPLUPPIPLUP)


    dont forget this season is full of wtf captures and evos (gligar, swinub, GIBLE)

    Now that i think about it, do we really know what pokemons Ash has during hte movie? a quick check up in serebii and bulbapedia leads me to noticing that we only know Ash has his Pikachu, Dawn her Piplup and Brock his Croagunk, so it's really fair play to speculate what evolves and what gets traded.

    Not sure about Ash, but I guess Dawn's Cyndaquil is in Movie 13 merchandise.

    AHHHHHHHH! You guys, I saw my very first trailer for POKEMON DP SINNOH LEAGUE VICTORS, I SAW THE BANNER AND EVERYTHING ;O
    But,since I can't find the banner right now on the internettt. :/
    ANYWAY, I saw another preview for the marathon they are going to have, they are showing the first three D&P movies in a row before the new season kicks off. ;D

    Does it? AG191 sort of revolved around May since both she and Ash were entering the Terracotta Contest. Ash was planning on using Sceptile for the battle, and I guess the writers thought Combusken vs Sceptile wouldn't be as good as it could be, so they evolved Combusken.

    Flash forward to all the way over here to DP182, and what do we have? An episode where Dawn and her Pokemon should take a backseat.


    Does that automatically mean Dawn's Cyndaquil isn't evolving? No, but I can't see the point since unlike May and Blaziken there is no benefit Dawn could receive at this moment for her Cyndaquil evolving. Unlike Ash who could receive a benefit since he'll more than likely use Quilava in the Sinnoh League.


    And AG191 was pretty much May's last episode of being a main character, unlike DP182 where this is most definitely not Dawn's last episode as a Main Character. So again no benefit.


    Another reason why it should not be Dawn's Cyndaquil that's evolving: Since when has a Pokemon hatched and evolved in the same series? Cyndaquil is in fact the youngest member (not newest) but youngest member of the Main Character's party since it most definitely was "born" last even compared to Gible and Togekiss (while Gible does have a chance of being younger, Togekiss doesn't). So Dawn's Cyndaquil shouldn't evolve for that reason. It's too young too evolve. While Ash's Cyndaquil is probably pretty old in comparison.
