Yes, the Ice-type Gym LEader can't be a Gym Leader because his Gym is covered with ice.

Surely that can't be it. They'd have to have an entire arc for it then we can see all the old gym leaders who have gotten stronger, but still have the same generation of pokemon (cause you can't seriously believe Blain's Magmar to evolve unless hehas a Magmortar for special matches). Then all the old trainers come back and Ash only lasts one or two rounds.

That doesn't stop him from being a Gym Leader in B/W because during winter, there's a whole bunch of snow around Iccirus

Which is why we're not having "The World Tournament" in the anime, we're having "The World JUNIOR Tournament". Now while I don't know what this exactly means in terms of who's participating, but it'll definitely be a lower number.

Well, Ash needs to be involved with something during Best Wishes 2, unless the entirety of the Unova league isn't over when this series starts up.

Still think it's funny the Ice-type Gym Leader can't be a Gym Leader anymore because his Gym is frozen in ice.
Though with that said, to what extent are the towns frozen? I mean we know the buildings are covered in frost and there are tall ice pillars, but were there people frozen? Did things slowly start freezing over (giving people time to escape) or was it a flash (surely meaning people must have gotten caught)?

Well it may be different but Blain had to move gyms cause his was burnt down by a volcano. Maybe it's just the paths to the towns have been shut isn't the only way to Brycens gym through a mountain maybe that was blocked by anland slide or something

Please don't double post. They're talking about destroyed gyms because Icirrus City has frozen over, so Brycen can't be Gym Leader there, even though he's an Ice-type Gym Leader. (Similar to Blaine, a Fire-type Gym Leader, having his gym on Cinnabar Island destroyed by a volcano.) Kwando is saying that the freezing can't be the only reasonBrycen isn't a Gym Leader anymore. As for the World Tournament, I would suggest asking someone on the forums about it, since I only know what's been said here. Pikachu315111's Question Thread would be a good place to bring it up.

I think I read somewhere that Brycen went back to movies and the icing over is because the gyms not being used

0:15 - Skyla's Gym had a revamp. The puzzle looks like it'll have to do with walking across a walkway above the Mistralton Cargo Service building where there's a giant fan that'll blow you back. You also get a quick look at Skyla's sprite but from what I can see it doesn't look like she changed much.
0:19 - The most interesting of anything today, looks like Ghetsis is back in Black 2 & White 2 and is in control of Kyurem and at some point N will face off against Ghetsis with his dragon (Zekrom in Black, Reshiram in White). Ghetsis also has a whole new outfit which looked like his old clothing but now all black and grey.

Nothing interesting in this one, they do show Homika's sprite animation but that's really it.
Maybe that's why White Kyurem is in White 2 and Black Kyurem is in Black 2.

No reason for her not to be, Mistralton didn't get frozen over.
Also I think the reason the Striaton Triplets and Lenora got replaced was due to them being tutorial bosses. Think about it, the Striaton Triplets taught you about the Grass-Fire-Water circle (notice that, aside from your starter, up till the Dreamyard where you're given one of the Elemental Monkies that no wild Pokemon in Route 1 or 2 had any types which could do super effective damage against Grass/Fire/Water-type Pokemon?) while Lenora taught you that if you want type advantage you'll have to go looking and catching for Pokemon (just outside Pinwheel Forest you can catch your first Fighting-types, the only weakness to Normal-types thus any Pokemon in the Routes before wouldn't do super effective damage, and people around the city tell you to go catch a Fighting-type). They were both tutorial bosses teaching you about type advantage, and since B2W2 is starting on the other side of Unova they're really no longer needed to teach these lessons. Also with the Trainer School in your home city they probably don't need any tutorial bosses, or at the very least make the first Gym Leader a type that neither him or them have a type advantage over (thus why Cheren is the first and Normal-type Gym Leader).
